I plan on playing Thor/loki in tourny this weekend and i want to be sure about the following questions....

Since they have both avengers and mystic's TA. Is it legal to t-bolt the avengers to my own Mystics for mstics times two?

Can traits..such his invulnerability be outwitted since its not on the dial?

and finally this is a question i have never been clear on... can one base duos be carried?

No Duo can be carried, No Trait can be outwitted, and I am not sure about the TBolt thing, but TBolting to Crossgen/Arachnos might be a better option (since they are technically different TA's with the exact same function.

Also, someone posted in the Units section to add Camo, Damage Shield, and Armor Piercing so the opponant would take 3 retaliation damage from up close (with Mystics, Arachnos, DS/AP).

ChiRocker is right. If you T-Bolt to Mystics then you will be redundant, so T-Bolt to Crossgen or Arachnos. That way your opponent will take 2 for every successful attack.

You might print out the HUTAR if you don't have it so you can bring it to the match if someone is unfamiliar with the Crossgen and Arachnos TA's.

I am personally unfamiliar with the acronym, but you can always print out the unrestricted players guide (or at least the TA section).

BOTAR was much better, but then they rereleased it in Origin with a new name.

Even though their trait cannot be countered, it's good to know that they are still subject to penetrating damage that is dealt by Exploit Weakness, Psychic Blast and some special powers.

And t-bolting to crossgen/arachnos isnt possible because it is a Minion theme team battle...i am going with thor/loki and 2 valkaries in a 500 point game. And will be using the rest of my points for feating up thor/loki

So... your judge is ruling that you can't use Indy TAs?

Otherwise, I don't see why T-bolting to Crossgen wouldn't be a viable option.

what are the rules of the theme team? Would having 1 of the TA's be themed enough? I always thought of TBolts as being its own TA, just having the exact same wording as some other TA (similar to how Mystics, Crossgen, and Arachnos all have the exact same wording, being a Thunderbolt is a different team than being a member of those other teams).

The rules are that i have have at least two HoT minions in the theme team.

T-Bolting isn't wildcarding, by the way. You don't have to possess the TA on one of your figs for Avengers to T-bolt to that TA.
