So I read the preview and I'm not 100% clear on how it works. I've got Clark Kent and he's lucky enough to get on one of his last two clicks without being KO'd and I switch out with Superman. My question is for building your force, do you only pay the 48 points for Clark or do you have to pay the cost for Supes as well? Sorry if this was covered anywhere, but I may have missed it.

You only pay the 48 points for Clark.

This is going to be exploited. You possibly gain an extra 2-3 clicks of life and decent offensive capabilities.

Let's pretend for a moment that Clark Kent does not have the Alter Ego power - other than that, his dial is the same including the 48 point price tag.
Would you consider him a good deal?

He's not bad for 48. His keywords don't match up to what I normally use, but I will probably use him some for the AE mechanic.

I don't think that Clark is really worth the 48 points by himself. There are better ways to get a perplexer on your team. It's having that and the chance for him to change into the 4 damage dealing, charging superman that makes him worth that 48 points.

what's with the orange line on Superman AE at the end of his dial?

So alll i have to do is give a power action anytime during the game? Then i ca switch him out for superman? Be it the first turn or the last turn or somewhere in between right?

It's where he starts when you swap out Clark.

I thought for that it was only on the last two clicks when he has the Alter-Ego power.

but the orange line is near the end of his dial. how can he get to the sweet 12 HSS click at the beginning?

He has to be on the special power to do it. So he needs to be on one of the clicks at the end of his dial.

You play him without Clark.

If you pay 48 points for him, you can't.
