So my buddies and I were having a game and it was going great all the teams seemed evenly matched it was a 4 person Free for all: Legion of Superheroes vs Time Trapper and other Future ppl vs 90's Animated X-men vs Gotham villans. Time Trapper Takes aim at Valor with his 3 damage psychic blast and i roll the dice and i let go...they bounce for a 1/2 a second they land Stacked one on top of the other perfectly flat. Us = What should we do when that happens? Poor man's off the table reroll? Pick up the dice and read the outcome? Slam my fist on the table so they fall?

We picked up the dice and i missed... good thing Time Trapper has Prob.

As both dice weren't flat on the surface of the table, you should pick up both dice and reroll them.

In support of this, from the OP rules:
"5.10c Dice Etiquette
All dice must be rolled at the same time. If one die is not laying flat on the playing surface or falls off the table, then all dice used in that roll should be rolled again."

At my venue, that'd be a crit hit

It wasn't wasted if you hit him with your next roll.

my judge upholds that Norm rules that if that happens and the top die shows up "1" on the top, then it officially ruled a roll of 1. (the only way to get 1 on 2 dice)

that being said, i would have just rerolled them as if they were Cocked
