Is this good? I hear the WK staff is small, so I wish some heroclix stuff would be cleaned up and running like a well-oiled machine (quality of cards, AP program, convention tournaments) but I'm happy to hear Halo's around also ...
From Alliance short solicitation list:
Halo ActionClix Red Spartan Battle Pack
The Red Spartan Battle Pack contains two classic Halo ActionClix figures, as well as a never-before-released Active Camo Covenant figure exclusive to this Battle Pack.
and
Halo ActionClix Blue Spartan Battle Pack
The Blue Spartan Battle Pack contains two classic Halo ActionClix figures, as well as a never-before-released Active Camo Covenant figure exclusive to this Battle Pack.
Sorry I don't have more info. Prices aren't listed. Release date just says July. I'll add pics here once I find some, but they aren't posted yet.
Comical, Woolverine, Pop of Pop's Culture Shoppe and Wellsboro Comic Con.
Consider it all joy! James 1:2
Hmmm it's a shame they didn't make them heroclix compatible....then again they still could....I'll wait patiently and see.......(not with a held breath though).

Do not want! Never the appeal in a HALO table top game. If I wanted to play HALO, I would, you know, play HALO. That said, I certainly wouldn't want to see HeroClix become Anything-more-than-three-people-likeClix.
There was a Robocop III you know (so don't be racist)
If they made them closer to 28mm they would sell really well despite not being Heroclix compatible. A lot of people want them for other games but they don't scale well.

Well of course, if you don't find it appealing then it must never be made for Heroclix right?
I have never played Halo as a video game or as a table top, however, if the figures were compatible with Heroclix, I'd use some as extra soldiers in certain games I play. That's why I wish they were compatible.
Plus, you may get a few extra people into Heroclix by using Haloclix as a starting point.
Really, if you don't like it, ignore it.

Has anybody ever tried a Heroclix vs. Mage Knight vs. Horrorclix vs. Actionclix game, compatibility be damned? Maybe throw Sportsclix and Mech Warrior in for good measure? That sounds like it would be a good time.

A while back there were pictures of product from a convention that had them. I can't remember which convention. They looked like the battlepacks or are battlepacks. Seemed like an odd choice to me.

We need Sportsclix back.
why you ask??
just so we can have a NFL Superpro crossgame Promotion Figure
If Haloclix had been Heroclix compatible I might have bought some. I'd team Masterchief with Starlord and Adam Strange.
I want these clixed: Doc Savage, Fu Manchu, Tarzan, The Shadow, The Green Hornet & Kato, Conan, Solomon Kane, The Phantom, King Kong, Universal Monsters, Black Orchid, Manhunter (Paul Kirk), Xemnu the Titan, unclixed Kirby Fourth World characters, and Lilith, Daughter Of Dracula.
I'm not buying in, but I like the idea of Action Clix.
Now add in some licenses that I might be interested in, LIke RoboCOP, Terminator, Aliens & Predator? then we're talking.
But honestly? I'd rather have all those in Heroclix.
I'm looking forward to seeing what tie-ins might arise from the upcoming Predators release as well as the New Judge Dredd Movie that is on the horizon.

And this is one of the main reasons I think the Halo Clix didn't succeed. It's a strategy miniature game based on a fast passed first person shooter. The target audiences for either game generally don't overlap. Just my opinion of course.
Now that said I think the other reason is the lack of compatibility, which was the same major problem HorrorClix had. I'm not saying I wanted to see a tournament that has Master Chief taking on Batman (Personally, not a Halo fan. Except multiplayer). But if they were compatible, I might have gotten a few out of curiosity to see how they stacked up. And I know at my FLCS many many many people said the same thing.

If they're not Heroclix compatible, I'd be wasting my money.
