There will be a number of games - Spaceship based HeroClix combat game, not compatible with Marvel & DC figures & a self contained co-operative game with HeroClix elements through out.
Just so you guys know it's a ship game. But wants can be anything. From a colossal Picard to a Trouble with Tribbles event dial. Anything goes...
1) A sentinel sized base Borg Cube.
2) Enterprise-E I'm assuming all ships are peanut based so I won't ask.
3)Single base Borg sphere. (Yeah, First Contact theme so far)
4) Single base Shuttlecraft or even a pog
5) Millennium Falcon No, I did not confuse Star Wars with Star Trek. I know way too much about both. But one thing I love about clix is how I can cross universes and have Shazam kick Thor's butt. Or have Shazam kick Spidey's butt. And have Wolverine get his butt kicked by Shazam...lol. I want to cross universes in this too. I want the Falcon to fight Voyager. I want an army of Generic Tie Fighters to fight a Borg Cube. Call George Lucas. Make it happen!
I have to keep going...
6) No special powers!!! there is no reason for them in the game. ships fire phasers and torpedos. They have tractor beams and can move at warp speed. Some can cloak and almost all have shields. The colors available to Wizkids are more than enough to cover everything.
7) Maps:Throw a giant colored circle on a map and call it a planet and I won't buy one thing,,, except maybe a Borg Cube.
8) Not too random packs think of action clix packs that had the one fig showing.
Wizkids, if you read this. Make the game as simple as possible. Make it like Heroclix 1.0. Or better yet, Batman Alpha. Make it so people can play right out of a booster. And remember... Call George Lucas!!!
The Borg Cube has to be a Colossal Galactus like figure and the space ships can be like regular sandard characters, if they need to be bigger they can do like the giant and doble base characters in heroclix.
The Sentinel base can be use for a DS9 Space Station.
What I want most right now is for them to get it right. When they say they are going to make a Star Trek Game they really leave everything wide open and I love it. The same reason is why I also hate it. There is SO much history...SO many ships. Will there be era specific packs? If we want to mix eras will the states reflect the fact that they are outdated? will the ship size ratios be correct (I don't want to see a constitution class the same size as a galaxy class).
I think the ships I'd most like to see though would be the ISS Enterprise with raised attack stats and a Prometheus class that somehow reflects separation, perhaps the ability target three enemies but decrease attack by one with each target.

New Gods Set in 2011 please?
1. Accurate Sculpts
2. No Chase Figs.
3. No Rarity
4. Clear Boosters
5. Quick Easy Rules
I know this might seem odd but I think if WizKids want to sell to the main body of Star Trek fandom this is how it will need to be. If they want to mainly sell to just gamers then they should do just it like heroclix; it might last longer then the Star Wars mini game did.

Sorry to disagree, but last summer the shop I managed carried a line of blind-purchase models from F-Toys. They came in cases of 10 models, but you didnt know which you would get. They were beautiful models oughtright and the pricepoint was nice (we sold them for $9 apiece) and I could not keep them on the shelves. There was even a "Chase" piece, the Mirror Universe paint job on the NX-01 and people bought model after model trying to get the "last one" they needed. I blew through 10 cases easily just by having them on display, no advertising, nothing... The key is to make them lookGOOD. If that cam be done, there is no limit.
1. The Defiant; what would a real Trek space combat game be without the first Starfleet ship built solely for war?
2. Constitution-class
3. Galaxy-class
4. Sovereign-class
5. Valdore warbird
