HCrealms trade and sale forum possible rule changes
I would just like some feedback.... New wording is in red
Trade rules:
Quote
10. Once You Agree On a Trade, IT IS FINAL
If you have exchanged addresses and agreed on the trade the trade is final. It is not time to start asking for someone to add something in to the trade. If someone backs out and has no better reason than "I got a better deal" that person should get neutral feedback. Also, do not decide to send through a third party after the trade is made.
10. Once You Agree On a Trade, IT IS FINAL
To acknowledge that both parties agree on the figures to be traded, addresses must be exchanged. By both people exchanging addresses the trade is final. It is not time to start asking for someone to add something in to the trade. If someone backs out and has no better reason than "I got a better deal" that person should get neutral feedback. Also, do not decide to send through a third party after the trade is made.
Sale rules:
Adding to the sale forum..
10. Finalizing a sale
If you have agreed on the sale, exchanged addresses, home addresses an/or paypal account e-mail address, the sale is final. If someone backs out and has no better reason than "I got a better deal" that person should get neutral feedback. Also, do not decide to send through a third party after the sale is made.
XX. If you do not have the money you cannot buy it
If you want to buy a figure and you can't get your money until Tuesday you are not guaranteed the figure. Sellers are not working with layaway plans. If you happen to have a seller who is willing to wait you must finalize the sale (see rule XX) to ensure you are guaranteed the sale.

This covers several spats we've had recently. One idea. Since some people back out after one party has already sent their end, can we add what feedback should be given. I'm remembering the E-2 Superman incident where the trader rejected the package after it had been sent.(hopefully someone found the Supes.)
Personally, I think that warrants negative feedback because the sender paid money for shipping costs. Neutral is fine as long as nothing has been shipped, but negative is necessary because one person will be out money if they've already shipped. If this is already covered in another rule, then I obviously need to read them again.
I like the new wording and clarification for the sale forum. There is a small typo in the Rule XX portion. You have "see rule XX" in parenthesis. I'm guessing you meant "see rule 10".

I am going to re number the rules because of late additions and to keep a consistent flow. From broad instances to specific instances.

I agree with this. Neutral is not enough in an instance like that. Negative, IMO, is warranted.
I like the proposed changes. It just clears things up a bit.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
I think the new "revisions" to the trade and sale rules are good phantalien. I hope that these changes, along with the people knowing that they'll be getting neutral or negative feedback, will give people a little more of a sense of accountability when it comes to trading and buying clix on this site.
Proverbs 3:5,6 Arkham Knight Clix - Oh Yeah, there coming!!
I might add something about international trade. Lets say a US trader sent his address and asked to seal the deal from the his trading partner to send him his address. The OP replied back with an European address or anywhere else other than the US. Nowhere in the discussion from the previous PMs did the OP mentioned he was not in the US.
Question: Could the US trader back out without repercussion because he does not do international trade even though addresses has theoretically been exchanged?
19. Location, Location, Location!
Either in your trade threads or in your PMs please mention where you are trading from, to allow traders to decide whether or not they want to trade internationally.
This should answer your question Nogocat.
There are no repercussions for the situation you specified.

We believe the onus should be in the original post.
If a trader/seller wishes to limit the scope of his dealings to a specific country, area, or itrader rating - these rules should be posted in the thread for all to see.(Not in PM messages) It is their perogative to make those choices, but if those choices are made - make them upfront.
While we agree there should be no penalty (no neutral, nor negative) for ending a deal due to this issue. It is also a waste of one's time and effort to post and negotiate with someone who turns around and says "Oh you are not USA, sorry I can't do it"

Reason: spelling
What would our itrader score be if sellers posted feedback, before waiting for us? . We are Canadian and as such we deal International.
I would definitely leave negative feedback for somebody who backed out of a deal after figures have been mailed; if they offered appropriate compensation that could be changed to a neutral.
now does this include the sales/auction as well? the exchange of both addresses to confirm a sale?
