What happens when SEntry's Uncertainty special power is outwitted but comes back in mid turn. Does he make a roll to see what he gets? Or does he just keep what he had before? Or Does he get nothing at all.?
Me? I've got a different problem. I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard. Always taking constant care not to break something. To break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control, even for a moment, or someone could die. - superman JLU Destoyer
It is always useful to post the text of anything you have question about.
UNCERTAINTY: (non-optional) Roll a d6 at the beginning of your turn. On a result of 3 or 4, Sentry can use Charge until the end of the turn. On result of 5 or 6, Sentry can use Charge and Hypersonic Speed until the end of the turn.
So if it was outwitted during you opponents turn you would not roll at the begging of your turn since you no longer have it.
If it came back in the middle of your turn then you could not roll it since its not the begging of your turn.
You only keep Charge/HSS till the end of the turn so it would not matter what you had previously. (keep that in mind if someone MC's him he will have no movement power)
Now if its your turn and you can outwit the person who outwitted this power you could do that during the beginning of your turn then roll since it will still be the beginning of your turn.
I'd say you should roll at the beginning of every turn whether it's been outwitted or not, so that if it does come back you know what he has. Maybe you just don't get to roll for it that turn though, I don't know for sure.

Uncertainty requires you to roll at the beginning of your turn. If you do not have the SP at the beginning of your turn then why would you roll? The die roll is just as much a part of the power as charge or hss. No roll.

Reason: typo
Yea, you wouldn't roll as it does say at the beginning of your turn...and if the power isn't in play at the beginning of your turn then...you can't...Though I do believe, don't quote me on this, you can outwit their outwit then roll for it as it is still the beginning of your turn.

As usual, Maraud's answer is spot on.

*mwahahahaha!* I shall quote it! But only because it is correct... It's really no different than Outwitting a damage reducer before applying Poison damage.

Yah, after I thought about it some more, I figured this was the answer. *shrug*

what would end the beginning of your turn? any non free action?
Player's guide:
"Turns
The 'beginning of turn' ends with the first non-free action assigned to a character, unless that action specifically states that it can be given during the beginning of the turn."
EDIT: Note that this is a slight change with this new PG.

From the player's guide (is there an echo in here ):
