Had a person that obviously has some kind of vendetta against me post twice in my buy thread with nothing to contribute. Just made a few snide remarks. I pmmed Phanta about them, but have yet to recieve a response from him whether what he was doing was wrong or not. If people wouldnt mind and post what you think should and shouldnt be posted in a persons threads in the trade zones I would be very thankful.

People make negative comments on trade threads all the time.

So its okay to do that? Heck... I dont care about people looking at my rating. I do disagree with some person that was not involved in the deal at all to go around and point out someones error. Specifically if he only does it too one person. If he is going to do it, then do it to everyone. Heck I just may start doing that.
If he can point out other peoples errors, then by all means get to it.

No. He said he fixed it, I took my negative. If he would have asked for a refund I would have given it. I have updated my sig to show people I have had some issues. I have never hid from my mistakes.

I wish you would point out everyone's errors hahah! That comment he made about Kal-L was very vague, had you not taken the bait it wouldn't have been a big deal.

My take, for what it's worth:

If I'm not involved in the deal, then it's none of my business. Having said that, if Trader X is about to make a trade with someone with trade issues, I don't see any problem with PMing Trader X and giving them a head's up regarding what to expect.

Pretty much my view on the matter as well.
I have to stress the part about PMing people though - trying to resolve your conflict via thread posts is seldom a good idea.

I wouldn't be too worried about it at all considering the source. The guy is known for being a DB both here on the realms and in the local tournament scene. That being said, you shouldn't have shipped a figure in a padded envelope. He should have tried to work something out with you, but based on who you were dealing with it is no surprise that he would rather troll than do that. I don't think it warrants him trolling on your threads, but you should be shipping your items in a sturdy box and sending them out right away. I had a guy basically steal a chase from me. That guy deserves to be trolled upon.

The deal wasnt even with him lol. Yeah... I know I shouldnt have shipped in a padded envelope. It was one of those times I had a brain fart. I dont mind at all if people dont want to deal with me because of that. Thats why I will now advertise that. But quite frankly he seems like he wants to go out of his way to act like he has some form of power or need to act like he has power. I have heard that people dont care for him too much so maybe hes just living up to his rep.

An interesting scenario:

Strongly Agree- Negative Comments about a trader should be placed in the itrader feedback section (afterall thats a main raison d'etre) and ONLY after failure to properly resolve an issue. Definately speak to a moderator.

Agree - Speak to a moderator to remove unnecessary trolling / harassment remarks from a trade/sell thread -

Acceptable - Warning to a potential trader of problems that have occured (in Private Message format)


HOWEVER

It is understandable to be frustrated to see a seller/trader continue on this site after "getting the short-end of the stick" (We understand as that has happened to us - more than once )BTW we are not speaking about the original poster mike_houghton in regards to being burned.

BTW - High jacking a thread (purposefully mis-spelled) by constantly bumping your own thread due to "offers" on a daily basis to raise your own thread to the top should also be looked at. Gets real old watching some people bump their own thread daily - when most people have the common sense to post when messaging... hrmmph!

Yeah... Phanta didnt agree with my point. I respect his decision, but strongly disagree with it. If everyone goes around and starts posting in other peoples threads it can get real bad real quick.

I fail to see how krustisleeze hasn't been given a few days "rest" from this site for awhile now. She contributes nothing to the site, and is well known for harrassing, and just being an all around d-bag.
