I am working on a map that has thick walls, at some places it's 2 or 3 grid squares thick, representing rocky cave walls. Is this blocking terrain? should I outline it in brown? Or is it just thick wall and should be left alone?

What you are describing sounds a lot like the prison map. On the prison map, thick walls are represented by blocking terrain (outlined in brown) surrounded by walls (thick black lines.)
Bottom line: since it is your map, you get to make the call.
That said, consider this: are characters meant to get 'inside' the cave walls? Say by Phasing inside or blowing a hole in one end. If that was your intent, then walls would be better. If you wanted them to be solid through out, with no way to get inside, then blocking would be better.
it is a custom map, but they get printed up and sold through miniature market, so it's really important to me that I don't screw it up.
normalview is right. They only need walls around them if you want them to have walls around them. Otherwise, from what I see, they work just fine as the blocking terrain with which you've marked them.
One question: Is the entire map suppose to be flat or have elevated terrain? I ask because as drawn it is flat, but the gray transition squares resemble stairs and I didn't know if you intended those to be stairs to elevated terrain or if you intended those to be artistic representations to plated flooring with the whole map at grounded elevation.

Elevated, I just haven't got to marking it out yet. I got stuck at the blocking terrain. So If I draw black lines insidede the brown border it will be understood thath characters can phase though, and blow up walls if need be?

Black lines inside the brown ones would just be confusing.
What NV is saying that those areas can be large areas of blocking by using the brown line as you have it OR change it to a black line and then those are "rooms" with no doors.
You can put black on the outside of the brown to make walls around your blocking terrain, if you choose.
MFrancella, that is a cool looking map. To answer your question, it looks like you want to make them brown squares. If I could, I would upload a photo of the prison map, which would probably answer your question on what you want as opposed to my interpretation of what you want.
