Bat/Cat duo seems like the biggest one to me. Kid Zoom. Talia. Gotham Detectives. Jason Blood. Those are the figures I would go for if I was playing.

Eight figures that I've seen that always seem to do well, that seem better than their cost and that I really hate to see lined up against me include:

Crisis Rip Hunter (97 pts)
Crisis Nightwing(79 pts)
AA Grodd(either the 157 or 161 pt piece)
M & M Danger(124 pts)
HoT Fandral(101 pts)
SI Gamorra(73 pts)
Rocket Racoon(65 pts)

Does anyone else think that any of these are possible cornerstones for a Gencom or "Big Tournament" type of team? I know I wouldn't like to face any of them. I probably don't have a very good grasp of the best teambuilds for cut throat 300 pt. competition so I'm all ears. Any comments about these figures or what you expect to see would be interesting to me.

Danger & Gamorra = yes. Maybe Rocket Raccoon and Nightwing. The rest have their uses, or are useful against certain teams, but won't allow for flexibility if the tourney team builds are varied.

Also, I'll add Venom to the list. He's just nasty, esp T-bolted to Mystics. Played against him yesterday and spent the whole game Mind Controlling and Force Blasting him out of my face!
