I personally am a fan of the awesomness that is Earth 2 superman, but I know there are alot of haters out there. For those who do not enjoy his stats or sculpt, i want to here your reasons.


Who wouldn't wana make a free close combat attack!?

Originally the way his SP was worded one could get a free attack against each and every opposing fig that started adjacent to him. It fit with him being the one man force he should've been. But after the errata he became manageable like any high point figure. When playing against him you should have enough built into your team to deal with him.

Yeah I know. I played in a local tournament today and dominated with him. Many have said that he should be banned and other crap like that but he's not completely broken, I mean come on.

Darkseid.

it was a 500 point game. I played him with shellhead and fort, the BN atom, and BatB inertia with armor piercing as a cheap bait. I used the meteorite with superman, and in the first game, my second turn, went up against supes prime and did 8 clix penetrating damage. Broken???

F that. I would put supes up against that any day.

I don't have an opinion, but you aren't really helping your case. Just saying

If any of you watching think that the superman isn't one of the best single based figs EVER than don't be afraid to post and name a click thats better. Bring It!

My case is to prove to people that he is awesome. and want to prove those who think the opposite, wrong.

That's the thing, he's a big target. Any nuber of things can topple him. Most anyone will drop Shield disruptor near him, or use OW to make all the damage stick.

Kid Zoom will Nerf his Mid-dial.

The abundance of 12AVs severely weakened his huge DV, couple Perplex figs or Gotham PD can crank that to a 14 with +2 Dam.

A team of low point Mystics hurts him.

Many Many ways to take him down.

But thats only if you make your team just to take him down. In a tournament, you hav to prepare your team to go up against all the other people also. plus there arent that many people out there that know the things you just said. PD was an old TA so new players won't hav them.
It's the sole thought that its superman, with owning powers. giv him a tombstone, start with a twenty D. put shellhead to hav a twenty D almost throughout his whole dial when he pushes.

I've had this Supes since crisis came out, and have master him to the point of taking down any, and all opponents. I'm ot just some newbie making procrastinations either. I know what I'm talkin about. Bragging aside

PD is actually from the Arkham set, lotsa folks use him.

Most good players will be packing OW, Prob, Shield Disruptor, TK, Ranged figs, or teams to deal with most anything. Even if they don't build specifically to deal with Supes most players will have enough figs to out-action Supes.

In 400pts he's severely limited, 500pts is a bit difficult for him, 600pts and above players may think they'll face a Colossal and any preparations for those will hold true against E2.
