While at Gencon today, I talked to Lax Chandra(sp?) and Norm confirmed it:

There are no chases in Web of Spiderman.

And before anyone castigates me, go back and look what I said last year while attending Comicon. I don't make stuff up.

I, for one, am glad to hear it. I have three of the Black Lantern chases, but I'm really not a huge fan of the chase piece.

That's stupid. I have one chase, a Supernova Wolverine, whoopdido. That shows my luck, but I still think they're cool to have in the game. It kinda keeps me motivated to keep buying boosters. I don't think this is a wise decision by NECA at all.

The only reason why it could suck to some people I think is because that means there are not any more figures to see. Other than that I am glad.

Ugh. So unfair. Dc gets all the luck when it comes to chases. plus its would have been more off the wall figures for Marvel (I was kinda hoping for that Karla Ms. Marvel chase). Oh well, until the next DC chase set.

Were any Super Rares harder to find? I read that 61-64 were rarer, especially Doppleganger.

I like chases cause it means more clix in the set.

Speaking as someone that has all the chases, I am happy that they are taking a break from it. I think if WOS is a good set, the figures will sell. You shouldn't need gimmicks to drive up sales. I have had to go to the secondary market for all but 3 of my chases. Wizkids didn't get much of that money. Only the booster that some store or lucky SOB bought to get it. And I have bought more boosters than anyone I know. Just not lucky, I guess. I guess that's why I always miss by one...
