Sorry for not copying the wording, I'm on a phone. Question is simple. If Deadpool has Protected when does he have to decide whether to use it or not? Does he get to roll for Ridiculous Regen first or not?
as the ridiculous regen is not optional id say you have to do it first then the optional feat protected. otherwise when 2 actions happen at the same time then the active player chooses what order they happen in.

Ridiculous Regen first. Protected is only used when there is damage dealt (and is optional at that).
Also, please punch any player in the face who plays feats on one of the top three broken figs. Thanks.
RIDICULOUS REGENERATION: Whenever Deadpool would be dealt damage from an attack, roll a d6 instead. On a result of 1, he takes that damage plus 1. On a result of a 2-3 he takes the normal amount of damage. On a result of a 4-5 he takes 1 damage. On a result of a 6, he heals 1 damage instead.

Choose a character.
(Optional) If the character does not already have two action tokens on it, damage dealt to the character as a result of a single action is ignored. After that action is resolved, give the character an action token and remove this feat from the game. If the character already had one action token on it, giving it a second action token deals pushing damage normally.
So the trait says when he would be dealt damage you roll to see what damage (if any). Protected states the character can ignore damage dealt. I believe the trait will happen first since it sets the damage dealt. Then if Deadpool has 0 or 1 token and is being dealt damage you can use Protected to ignore it.

If the damage is from an attack, I don't think Deadpool can use Protected (at least effectively.) He's never actually dealt any damage to ignore.
First time I've heard Deadpool was broken. Really?
yeah, i just played a sealed game yesterday against 2 players who pulled deadpool
i saw player 1's deadpool get hit for 3 damage and roll a 3, then next action he get's hit again for 3 damage but rolls a 1. ko'd deadpool
Next in my game i played against player 2's deadpool. I charged him with venom + heavy object, i hit and player 2 roll's a 1 taking 6 damage. He didn't last long after that.

Yep, if anything, Deadpool's at the mercy of the dice. It's already bad enough he's loaded up with dicey powers, such as BCF, Super Senses, attacking, etc.
I suspect he can carry his weight on a X-Force team, though, with what the stealthers running interference and Wolverine helping Deadpool regen even more via the TA.

Ummmm. What? Sorry man, you are usually really good at interpreting the rules, but I'm not following you here?
Deadpools Trait says:
RIDICULOUS REGENERATION: Whenever Deadpool would be dealt damage from an attack, roll a d6 instead.....
Protected says:
Protected
Choose a character.
(Optional) If the character does not already have two action tokens on it, damage dealt to the character as a result of a single action is ignored.......
I'd say he can roll for his Ridiculous Regeneration, and if he would take Damage, he can then use Protected. The only thing his Trait does (possibly) is change the amount of Damage he may take.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........

Back up the bolding on Ridiculous Regeneration just a little bit. "Whenever Deadpool would be dealt damage..." The key term is "would be." He isn't actually dealt damage. Rather he would be dealt damage and instead something else happens. That something else is one of the four items listed. And none of those cause Deadpool to be dealt damage. They all involve him either taking damage or being healed. Since when the trait activates he is not dealt damage, I don't think Protected can be effective. (Protected requires him to be dealt damage and he isn't actually dealt damage.)
Ridiculous Regeneration is like Mastermind - it activates before damage is dealt, when the character WOULD be dealt damage. Protected only activates against actual damage dealt.
So Deadpool could use Protected against something like Poison damage or from damage dealt to him BY a Mastermind character, but not against damage from an attack.
