Here's a scenario I couldn't figure out that happened last night...

My opponent has Solo, I have Spider-Man and Mysterio, and those two, my figs, are adjacent.

He does a EE attack twin-targetting my boys. He rolls a critical hit.

Spidey makes his SS roll, Mysterio doesn't.......how should damage have been applied?

We all came to the conclusion that Mysterio took 2 and knock-back, and Spidey took zero. I'm starting to think that Mysterio should have taken 3.

he should have taken 2. he was hit 1 time for 1 with EE and then the crit increased damage dealt by 1 to 2.

I believe it would be 2. Unless Spiderman and Mysterio are adjacent to each other (which seems like it may be implied, given that your mention of Energy Explosion would be moot otherwise).

If Spiderman and Mysterio are adjacent for the overlapping EE, Mysterio still takes 1 from being hit, 1 from crit, then one from the splash damage of Spiderman's hit, totalling to 3.

Spiderman evades the attack, meaning he takes 0.

That was my understanding of Supersenses vs Energy Explosion, at least.

nah if the initial target of EE makes their SS then no adjacent figures take the splash damage, since they were never hit.

I believe he only takes 2 (1 from EE and 1 from crit), he doesn't take splash damage from spiderman since he evaded the attack.

would Spidey have taken splash damage from Mysterio being hit? i thought his super senses roll was against the initial attack. wouldn't he have to roll again to avoid the splash?

No since there is only one attack he only makes one roll.
Splash damage and initial damage is also applied at the same time.

That was my line of thinking. But, Mysterio would take 2 damage either way

Energy Explosion
Give this character a ranged combat action; this attack can target only characters. For each target successfully hit, compare the attack roll to the defense value of each character adjacent to that target to determine if the attack also succeeds against it. Each character hit is dealt damage equal to the number of times it was hit by this attack (characters adjacent to multiple targets might be hit more than once). A critical hit automatically hits all targets and all characters adjacent to the targets and deals 1 additional damage to all characters hit. If a character evades the attack, it evades all hits by this attack.

Don't forget Solo hits himself for 1 after armor, plus knockback!

1) He didn't say that Solo was adjacent to them.

2) Even if he was, there's no KB on yourself.

That doesn't say that Solo is adjacent to them. It says that Spider-Man and Mysterio are adjacent to each other.
