Nightcrawler can use Hypersonic Speed, Stealth, and the Carry ability. When Nightcrawler uses Hypersonic Speed, a target hit by a close combat attack may be placed adjacent to Nightcrawler after the power action resolves.
TARGET: The character or characters against which an attack is being made or a power is being used.
so, nightcrawler can't move, web marker, doppleganger marker, hindering terrain marker, blocking terrain marker.
they are marker not character.
true or not?
thanks!
Nightcrawler cannot move web, barrier or hindering terrain markers; he can only reposition/move characters he has successfully attacked (close combat).

This is incorrect.
Barrier tokens and objects are valid targets for his attacks, among other things.
If you are attacking it, it is a target unless the effect specifically says that the affected thing is not a target (like Pulse Wave).
You are totally allowed to displace anything you target and hit with Nightcrawler EXCEPT terrain features printed on the map.
Also note that you cannot target Web markers or hindering terrain.
Talking about this, I need a little help.
I know that objects and terrain features - including Barrier markers - can be targets of an attack. But some players I know have started an argument about it, following the same logic as jujuzombi here. And I cannot find any references in the rulebook to prove my point. I probably have missed something. I would like that someone point me in the right direction.
Page 9:
"DESTROYING BLOCKING TERRAIN
A square of blocking terrain can be destroyed by an attack that deals at least 3 damage in a single attack. When a character attacks blocking terrain, the attack automatically succeeds. A close combat attack can be used to destroy a square of blocking terrain adjacent to the attacker. A ranged combat attack can be used to destroy a square of blocking terrain by drawing a line of fire to the center of the square of blocking terrain; the line of fire is not blocked by the target square in this instance."
i clearly understand that you can destroy a square of blocking terrain by a close /range combat attack.
but i don't understand why nightcrawler can use this special power again blocking terrain because the glossary explain "target" (the name not the adjective) is exclusively for characters ( and characters si bystanders, :

so yes, nightcrawler can mke a close combat attack against wall, marker, but his power doesn't work, because they are not a legal target when you read the description of a target.
morbius can't gain 1 life when attack a wall (heals Morbius of 1 damage or damage equal to the number of powers possessed by the target of the attack after it takes damage, whichever is greater.), anti venom doesn't counter power of a morjnil when attak him ( Give Anti-Venom a close combat action. If the target takes damage from this close combat attack, all of its powers are countered until end of turn.).

The glossary gives quick definitions for reference. They do not cover every possible nuance of every term.
If something is targeted by an attack, it is a target.
As far as how the power is actually worded, Harpua seems to be right. That being said, it's hard to imagine that Nightcrawler's power was really intended to work on non-characters.
Does this mean that Nightcrawler can move blue-ringed objects?
Quote
IMMOBILE OBJECTS
Immobile objects can’t be picked up or moved using any game effect. When an immobile object is destroyed, put a debris marker in the square it occupied and remove the object from the game.
If NC does it, he neither moves nor picks up the object, so I see no reason it would not work. Same for Darkseid.

Really? Even though the word 'moved' isn't present, the meaning of the word move is. If you attack a character, then 'place' him in a different square....well, that's 'moving' him still. Right?
The Man in Black fled across the desert, and the Gunslinger followed...
With that logic, Maneuver would work also, and against powers like Groot's Colossal power.
MANEUVER:
Prerequisites: {boot}, Close Combat Expert or Combat Reflexes
Choose a character.
When the character make a close combat attack against a target opposing character, after the attack is resolved, put the target in any unoccupied square adjacent to the character.
FLORAL COLOSSUS SPROUT: Non-optional. Groot has the Colossal damage symbol, a range of 4, and can't be moved.

And that is correct.
"Move" and "put/place" have two completely different meanings in Heroclix.
