LUNGE:
When the character is given an action, but before it makes a close combat attack, it can break away automatically and move up to 2 squares.
Can you use Lunge with a HSS Supes that CCE and move your full move then lunge? Basically can you activate the feat with a move action? I didnt think so but a judge allowed it tonight.

That's fine.

HSS is a power action, actually, but that's not the action triggering Lunge.

Is the figure given an action? Yes...a free action to make an attack.
Is it a close combat attack? If it is, then you fill the criteria.
In the diagram above, our character has Charge and leap/Climb and is assigned Lunge. His speed value is 6. Half his speed is 3, so he moves 1, 2, 3, as labeled on the diagram. He is then given a close combat action, which includes an attack, so he can Lunge 2 squares (both indicated with L) and attacks the character on elevated terrain.

How does he do this? He uses Leap/Climb.
But that's not using Pounce at all. (Or was it not in reference to what ChiRocker said and just an example of using Leap/Climb and Lunge together?)
Yeah. And since Pounce only lets you do a close combat attack it is not enough to activate Leap/Climb's "attack someone on a different elevation" feature.
