This came up in a game so I felt like it would be a perfect thing for discussions on the realm. I was playing my friend and he was using a theme team. It was U-Foes in a 300 point team. I attack Iron Clad and I hit. He declares he wants to use Probability with Iron Clad. I say ok, I reroll I don't hit and action resolves. I say "Ok, put an action Token on him." He responds with "What, whats the point of using it then if it requires actions. Why would you waste an action to re-roll?" Thats where you guys come in. I can think of several but haven't been in the situation enough to know of any more.

Doesn't count toward actions but it does give a token. It prevents you from getting walloped. I usually save it for things like when a Kurse packing a heavy item hits me for 6 penetrating damage.
Even if the character using TTPC already has an action token, sometimes it's better to give them another one than to take a hit. I'd rather take 1 pushing damage than 5 damage from an attack.
