I'm going to be playing a friendly, holiday-themed game this weekend. I'm trying to put together a team based on the Rankin Bass Rudolph special. So far, I've got:

-Red Ghost for Santa
-Cave Carson for Yukon Cornelius
-First Class Iceman for the Burl Ives narrator
-Vet Sasquatch or Wendigo for the Abominable Snowman
-Nightcrawler ("Fuzzy Elf") for Herbie the elf

But I can't think of any character to represent Rudolph himself! Any ideas?

You seem to be missing the essential character:Rudolf. My suggestion would be an animal/transporter Lockjaw maybe or Robot (invincible)

Professor X is a Charlie in Box (with wheels)

Long as you're going with the Rankin Bass specials, may I recommend watching tonite's episode of "Community" which is done as a Rankin Bass-style Christmas special and may give you more ideas?

Tony Stark because drunks frequently end up red-nosed...and he flies.

Krypto -- A flying animal with the Superman Ally team ability, using his nose to light up those characters in hindering terrain and stealth. And super strength to pull the sleigh.

Experienced Sasquatch would be much better for the Abominable Snowman because it's the white fur version.

Also, Ultra-Humanite wouldn't be a bad stand-in.

For Rudolph,

Vixen or Beast Boy might be an idea. Animal Man, maybe?

Also, you could use something like Reign-Deer, as in Reign of the Supermen!

So you could use Superboy, Steel, or Cyborg Superman, possibly?

say can use any figures from Horrorclix? they do have Santa and Reindeers there....hmmm but not in a good way...heh.

I was using Battleplanner for this, and the white Sasquatch was the last in the alphabetical list (because the Vet is Tanaraq). I just assumed it was the Vet, thanks!

By the way, I also think you should use the "silver and gold" Mjolnirs and have Yukon Cornelius try to pick up the gold one.

What is the point costs?

For Rudolph, I would have used The Flash, because in one Christmas Special story he dressed up as a reindeer to pull a sled around the world on Christmas, or maybe a Green Lantern since they tend to light the dark!

Yukon Cornelius, to me, seems more like wolverine, a larger than life brawler.

Odin IS Santa Clause (according to one Marvel Christmas Special).

I am going to do a Red, White and Green Lantern team. Will be fun, and Christmas themed.

can use Guy or Acro the red lantern so their rings can represent the red light? for rudolph?

Jack Frost: most any ice characters but Killer Frost seems ok
Abominable Snowman: sasquash or Ultrahumanite
Chanuka Candle: Firestorm
Christmas Gift: Toyman
Reindeer: I like the Krypto suggestion
Santa: shazam on the chair. Magneto and Mad Hatter also have cool chair sculpts
Grinch: someone green and weird like Ambush Bug or Impossble man
Ghosts of Christmas past, present, and/or future: Ghost Widow, Ghost, etc..

Heat Miser/Snow Miser - Fire & Ice duo of course

Even more specifically, if I were playing the Ghosts of Christmases Past and Yet to Come, I think I'd want to play Gentleman Ghost and Ghost Rider 2099, respectively.
