When a new expansion comes out, I make these quick checklists that have an image of the character printed on a clix dial sized circle. As I pull a figure from my case, I place them on the corresponding circle to easily see who I have and who I'm missing. It makes opening a case or two a lot easier for me.
I figured I should share the one I threw together tonight for the tomorrow's release.
These images should be scaled to print as a full 8.5"x11" image with each character circle big enough to be the same size as a clix dial.
You may need to right click on these images and "Save As" then print.
Ok.. I know the T-Rex and the twins are on double bases. Its late and I was trying to knock these out!
I have to admit. I opened the link and looked at the pic. I'm like, cool. But a waste of paper (tree-hugging hippy here).
But then I read the post. I like the idea. Easy visual inventory.
Rep to you. Wasted paper for me.
Nah... after you're thru with using them, cut them into strips and tie them around all the plastic inserts from your boosters so that the booster inserts can be quickly and easily carried to the recycling plant.
It's a neat concept, though I must admit I'm somewhat in the "waste of paper" category. (That said, paper does recycle nicely, which I do on a regular basis.)
Another consideration: what about dupes? Or was the checklist simply for completion's sake? As in, "the only figures I need to finish the set are x, y and z," and any dupes go into the trade bin? (Or however you choose to collect and organize your pieces.)
I already have a small notebook, ready for the off-checking of my figures. Now, I've just gotta go pay for my case, and I'm ready to go!
