Our new judge (kinda a moron in the way of rules, by the way) announced next week's event is going to be "War of the Corps". The requirements as he posted them were

"You must field a leader of one of the Corps"
"You cannot mix Corps"
"If you cannot fill your entire team, you may add anyone chiefly the same color"
"Any carrying a staff is fair game for the Indigo Tribe"

There are eight of us that play weekly. One guy immediately vouched for Red Lanterns, making preps with Atrocitious, Guy Gardner, Mera, and looking for some padding. Another guy dibs Green Lanterns. Larfleeze kid immediately wanted orange for Larfleeze and his posse of Magmas. A few of the older guys (seemingly) randomly picked Blue, Indigo, and Star Saphires. Typically I would field Sinestro Corp, having a pretty decent selection, including the Anti-Monitor. But the newest kid was just adamant about playing Sinestro Corp and I didn't want to rock the boat when we had all 7 represented.

I own the Nekron Chase and I think people are expecting me to field him with a bunch of random guys in black. I made no such commitment.

The idea is that Armor Wars keeps the Monster Society dealing damage regardless. With the new ATA rules, Monster Society will stack with normal Superman Enemy, so I'll have a few Outwits coming from my E's. Tons of mastermind fodder for Luthor to dump off onto and he'll be my big gun.

I love the idea of Lex Corp versus the Lantern Corps. I realize I'll probably get slaughtered, but it'll be fun. I have like 20ish of each of the REVs of Battlesuits and Securitys if people can see a better breakdown, and I have access to all 4 of the Luthors. I'm totally abusing that "Leader of one Corps" rule to make this count. Bwa-ha-ha.

I think it is very Bwa ha ha ... I wish I had thought of it.

Depends on how much of a jerk your judge is. He may insist that that is not a team that is valid - so here is my suggestion:

Swap out Merlyn for HT R Grundy to keep Lex around longer if you are looking to change it up a bit.

I bet they'll wish they'll let you play the other team seeing that across the board.
