My Concerns
1) Is there only two spaces to get out of the throne room (without destroying a wall). This seems like a disadvantage to that side but actually it might make things more fair b/c the aquatic side has little coverage.
2) Will Aquatic figures loose their advantage while not actually in the water.
ex: Aquaman should still keep his special aquatic powers even though he isn't really in the water (maybe I'm in the minority here)
How has the map played???
ps: I would have placed a shark or octopus instead of the dinosaur

The balance was that one side would have a tighter path while the other side had a big open space to cross. I occassionally like a map where the attacker has a greater disadvantage than the defender. I'm not Wizkids, so I don't have to worry about game balance or the metagame. So I can push map thematics over mechanics (and balance) as far as I believe it can go.
I like your idea of allowing Atlanteans full use of their powers on the entirety of the map. If I ever print this, I may house rule that.
The map was literally finished about an hour before it hit the website. One year I'll get around to printing a copy and I'll let you know how it plays then!
There were sharks on my Ray Ship may so I didn't want to double-dip.

Not yet. I have the Dark Alley / Nightclub map for sale now. To keep the price cost effective I need to bulk print. If I ever break even on the costs it took to mass print the Dark Alley, I'll put up a public vote for what may second printed map would be.

Love the bad Sci-Fi movies. I actually had started a map based on the Ice Spiders movie but I never finished it. It's definitely on the list for 2011. However my all time favorite TV show is getting mapped first. I'm hoping that one will be finished this winter.
This is an awesome map! I have always wanted an Atlantis map, and have always toyed around with how to best go about making it. I think you did an excellent job, although I did have the same initial reaction as Top10:

seems kinda ironic that the guys who would supposedly be defending atlantis would actually prefer to be the attackers.
One very simple way to address this would be to say that and characters treat the area within the dome as water terrain, while everyone else treats it normally.
If I get a chance I'd love to print it out and give it a spin.

I wouldn't. The dinosaur takes the map from "cool" to "must have" for me. I'll be wanting this map at some point...
