Hey everyone,

Yep, leave it to me, Frontman; to try and run a Games Workshop product-based mafia game on a Heroclix forum. Then again, why not?

So, I'm looking for players who are interested in trying their hand at a grim dark future mafia game.

A basic summation of the Horus Heresy follows:

"After a two century long crusade to reunite the planets inhabited by humans and create via genocide a human-only galactic empire, the Emperor of the new Imperium made Horus, the first and supposedly most trustworthy of the Primarchs, the Warmaster (commander-in-chief) of his armed forces while he himself left for unspecified reasons back to Terra (Earth).

This exacerbated existing tensions among some of the other Primarchs, the leaders of the Legionnes Astartes, especially those who felt slighted by other decisions of the Emperor or had grievances against their brothers.

After being nearly fatally injured, Horus was corrupted during the healing process by visions produced by the Chaos gods, and turned traitor against the Emperor and ultimately led exactly half of all the Primarchs, as well as their Legions, in battle against the Emperor. Most of those who turned against the Emperor became, or already were, corrupted by Chaos.

Horus was finally killed in single combat with his creator and his forces fled to the Eye of Terror, where they created their own empires and have continued to harry the Imperium ever since.

The Emperor himself was near fatally wounded and is kept in a moribund state by a technological marvel known as the Golden Throne, only able to express himself psychically."

Take the role of the Emperor, or any of his Primarch children, and see if you can re-write this fictional history.
