The other day, I played a Deadpool figure and put Automatic Regeneration on him; one of the other players argued that the free action for regeneration only happens when you actually reveal the regeneration click. The rest of us weren't entirely certain about this, so I figured I'd ask the community for clarification.
Any feat that has a prerquisite may only be used when the prequisite is actually met/showing on the dial/usable (condition will vary depending on the nature of the prerequsite).
In this case, the Deadpool must actually be able to use Regeneration at the beginning of the turn to use the feat. If he can't use Regen, he can't use the feat.
Can he use regeneration twice? For example, uses Regeneration as a free action with Autoregen and fails, then uses Regeneration as a power action. Can It do that? It isn't giving the character the same action twice?
If I was a HeroClix figure :
2 2 3 1 1
With two Cliks to KO :knockedou
I'm sure the stipulation was on multiple free actions in a row. So Deadpool should be able to roll for the auto-regen since its a free action and then use the power action to use it normally.
Also just in case, if you chose regeneration while using the gauntlet it'll also activate the auto-regen feat at the beginning of your turn.

Yes, that's fine. The power action is not a free action, so not limited by the rules for free actions.

I don't know where you're getting "in a row" from. The restriction is on multiple free actions to activate the same effect in a turn, regardless of whether the are "in a row" or not.

Sorry, I meant the same free action in a row. I always forget to put that wizkids spin on things, lol.
Yes, you could use it twice, assuming that it was still showing on the dial after the first use
Why is it that no other feat produces this same question over and over? If a feat required RCE (like trick shot) most people understand that you can only trick shoot when it is showing

Why is Automatic Regeneration so ... persistent
Just one of those things, but this thread isn't a fresh asking anyway.
