I was thinking about the "pass the trash" style scenario and how it's gotten a bit more difficult to piece together terrible teams in Modern and now starting from SI, I'm even less sure what would rank as basically the worst in a 300 or more point game...
So what's the worst out there? Thoughts?

I love pass-the-trash/World's Worst builds.
Here's the problem with the scenario: There have to be A LOT of special rules in order to make it balanced. So here are my biggest questions?
Is there a build cap (you have to build up to a certain point total, like in a 300 point game, you have to build above 280). If there is no cap, your team is:
Nurse - 10
Are there duplicates? If there are no duplicates, I have a team for you. If you can use duplicates, your team is now A TON of researchers.
I have a team built that uses zero duplicates and it is quite crappy--and doesn't use Mephisto. (Maybe with Deadman rotated out, I should reconsider)
Bring a team that doesn't function well as a unit - example: Kid Zoom paired with Max Mercury, or William Stryker and some X-men.

Mephisto 145
Jamie Madrox 52
Mass Master 30
Mugger 16
Moloid 15
Checkmate Pawn White X 2 38
Total 296
That looks pretty awful.
Actually, in an event like this, I'd love that team. Most people will bring figures that max at 1 or 2 damage, so Mephisto will last a long time and deal feedback damage. I'd set it up so that my Pawns would transform to Knights and get that Enhancement bonus going, and then Mephisto would be a powerhouse.

Captain Gordon on a team with no Bst Ally/Enemies or wildcards. One Multiplex.
This might sound crazy, but Ulik. Yes his damage potential is extreme, but anyone can hit him thus anyone can hurt him. If your opponent gives you 20 researchers and he has 2 Uliks, LE Bruce Wayne and Jarvis, I like the researchers' chances.
How is Catwoman indomitable? Everyone deserves it before her, even Aunt May.
