Attack - EX Hadoken: Give Ken a double power action. Ken makes a a ranged combat attack. After actions resolve, counter all powers that an opposing character who took damage from this attack possesses until your next turn.
so if Ken uses Ex Hadoken when on his last click, he gets KO'd because of the double power action. so, does this mean the countered powers come back? (similar to how if a character used outwit gets KO'd or knocked off outwit or their outwit is countered)
Yes. Any game effect with a specified duration (such as "until your next turn") ceases when the effect that generated it goes away, whether because a character was KOd or just clicked away.
Have Mikron O'Jeneus grant Ken Willpower, or keep Ken adjacent to Bison with Inspiring Command (on his Mastermind clicks) to reduce Ken's pushing damage to zero.
The latter option is more realistic, given that SF is restricted to Golden Age play.
If the SP wasn't on the final click and you used it on your 2nd to last click, the countered powers would immediately go away.
So hence why the SP is there on the final click so you can push over from the 2nd to last click and still have the powers countered when you push onto the final click.

Especially since Mikron can only grant attack powers. But Edward Nigma or the Chief are also possible ways to avoid the pushing damage.

ok, now that you mention it that makes a bit more sense now...
