So I'm considering an Easy company/Howling commandos teamup, but I'm unsure what configuration would work best.
Obviously you need both Rock and Fury - with the GF Nick that's 128 points. Add in two GF Howlers and it's 208 points, leaving just enough room for three more grunts. I'm thinking two Easies and one Howler makes a fair spread, but the Charge on the Howler is very appealing to play in multiples too.
I'm also not sure how many GF b Howlers I want. Two is appealing, but so is the RS on the a side...
Any suggestions?

The 40 pt GF Howler "b" side is AMAZING! Stealth, Willpower, AND perplex all in one little neat package for 40 pts...

I played this same idea at 400 points with this lineup:

Nick Fury (unc) = 109
Captain America (rare) = 83
Howling Commando #201a = 40
Howling Commando #201b = 40
Sgt. Rock = 68
2x Easy Company Soldier = 60
Mjolnir = 0
Total: 400 ("Soldier" theme)

At the time I hadn't pulled any of the "normal" Howling Commando, so that choice didn't come into play.

Anyway, they work incredibly well together. You need at least one Commando 201b to make sure you can get past damage reducers, but I only included one on my team to avoid Rock's willpower trait being redundant. That much running shot on one team sure is nice to have.

At 300 points, I think I'd probably go with this lineup:

Nick Fury (GF) = 60
2x Howling Commando #201b = 80
Howling Commando (common) = 29
Sgt. Rock = 68
2x Easy Company Soldier = 60
Total: 297 ("Soldier" theme)

Without Captain America, the extra perplex Commando is in there to make sure you're hitting hard enough. You've still got three running shots from Easy Company, plus the charge on the common Commando. Protect Nick Fury, because the stealthed outwit is even more important on this team than an average team, and remember the Easy Company's minion power works off of Nick Fury, too. Don't forget to roll for leadership and remove those tokens!
