He's pretty nice, but I have some questions.

1. We couldn't have sculpted his free hand holding a BR? Or even a pistol?

2. The UNSC TA is SHIELD. Why is it uncopyable?

3. Some sort of Regen would have been appropriate. No damage equals more shields for the Mjolnir armor.

Not hating, as I look very much forward to seeing and fielding these guys, but some things look odd.

I think it is uncopyable because it adds plus one to the range on all friendly adjacent characters, not just one, and you can give the plus one to range and damage at the same time, SHIELD says either.

Ah, thank you. That is an interesting difference.

That TA is actually a lot better than SHIELD. Firstly, SHIELD characters can only boost an ally's range by +1 (via a free action), or boost their damage by +1 (via a power action). The same character cannot give both boosts. This UNSC TA can give both boosts.

Also, the range boost with UNSC is not an action. It applies automatically by being adjacent to the character using the UNSC TA.

It's not exactly the same as SHIELD. With SHIELD you can only do one or the other, even though one is a free action and one is a power action.

With UNSC, you automatically get the +1 to range no matter what, and then you can do the +1 to damage on top if you choose to.

i do wish his arms were doing something else! the dial is just sick! for the points he's on par with many figs that almost dbl his! teamed with the right ppl an he's a wrecking machine! i can see him and crimson dynamo teaming up very soon!! give him the gem and now it's not even fair almost!

Am I the only one who sees more of a Green Giant than Master Chief? Sculpt is very meh...figure though is very nice!

The dial is pretty awesome. Adding grenades to your grenade pool? That seems big. I imagine it definitely could end up being so.

The sculpt is a little meh, which is unfortunate. The pose is rather flat and unnatural, and the little blobby thing on his hand doesn't help. Well, I suppose we've seen worse

Gah! The only thing keeping the GoW figures reasonable is the limited supply of grenades. Look at Master Chef's fourth click power. If he throws a grenade and hits a bunch of people (suppose he manages to hit an ideal 6 character formation) with a frag grenade, he could add a ton of grenades to the grenade pool (adding 6 grenades after one attack!). The other option... adding +6 to someone's damage... isn't that scary because of the rule of 3, though I'm sure a character like Scourge (high attack, low damage) would love it, as would anybody who gets a penalty to damage (like when Darkseid gets a -2 to make his Omega beams penetrating... let's add +6 to that for a total of +4, taken down to +3 from the Ro3).

But maybe that would require a really high point game, I dunno. Still... I'm scared of the Chef.
