I have a team that is based around Veteran Doc Strange and Veteran Xavier. But here is the problem I've realized that for 83 points Xavier is pretty much a one trick pony. Sure he has leadership but if you outwit his mind control he can't do nothing offensively. So I have been thinking of replacing him.
I am looking at maybe the unique Moondragon.
But the real question is who is the best MC in the game? Since I love using other players figs against themselves.

E White Queen is my favorite mind controller. for 80 pts you get Mind Control, Psychic Blast, Super Senses and Leadership.

Have to say (E) White Queen is more of a Mind Controling giant. Moondragon only has 2 kliqs of it. While (E) White queen has it for 4 kliqs. Plus Psychic Blast though the whole dial.

I second Angelofhate's nomination of E White Queen. For the points, she is much more powerful than most, plus comes with a stack of great powers. Really a strong figure.

All this for 71 points is amazing.

Not only is she an excellent Mind Controller, she is also very versatile.
The Regeneration meens she stays around for awhile even if she gets hit.
She is also 9 points cheeper than Exp White Queen.

I'd go w/ an E White Queen. She has MC for 4 clicks as well as Psycic Blast all the way down her dial. Plus, she has Leadership & Super Senses too. 8 range and an attack of 10 round her out, all for only 80pts. V Prof. X has a range of 10, which is nice, but I like WQ better because of her Psycic Blast & Super Senses.

Moondragon's ok; TK can be useful, and she's only 71pts, but you have to make your SS rolls, as she only has MC for 2 clicks. The Regen she has is nice, as well as the ability to fly, but I personally think she sucks. Everytime I've used her, she's the first to die:disappoin.

If you're looking for straight MC, Professor X is your guy; 10 range, 11 attack, and Defend (which partnered up w/, say, R Invisible Girl & someone w/ RCE, like Bullseye or Cyclops is a deadly combo), ain't nothin' to sneeze at.

E White Queen is my favorite; that nifty Psycic Blast can be INCREDIBLY effective against "bricks", allowing her to be effective when MC is not an option (if you don't want to take a click for the whole "100 pts or more" rule, or the other fig. has Battle Fury).

Personally is like The Key...just becuase he has outwitt, not to expensive, super senses, and mind control...but that only for fun...

If i actually want to play, I generally would use Mooddragon, just bases on the fact that 10 ranges is awesome and have her carry Invisible Girl and she can become a powerhouse...hee hee...

But, I do know thing...i more and more sets come out...i fear that the master of mind control...say Professor X....will be made obsolete...just on the basis there are alreadly better mind controling pieces.

Also, honorable metions: gorilla grodd, white queen, dark sied (spelling?), and puppet master <---just becuase his veteran and a batman team member rocks!!!

I would go with the U professor X or the Vet X. Their attack values are through the roof and they've both got, I think, 7 clicks of life. And 5 or 6 clicks of MC.

The Unique can do damage, though. And even though it's only one, it can really matter.

I'd have to go with Vet Prof. X simply because his 10 range, high attack and tons of MC push him past Exp White Queen in my opinion. She can hold her own, but if you're looking to make MC a crucial point of your team, you wouldn't leave Prof. X out on a limb alone anyway, he'd need support.

Although, this could all change dramatically after people start playing Mandarin, The Leader and, after some damage, the newest Elektra ...

Professor X is more of a support piece for a ranged combatant. His defend will help most figures in the game and if somebody gets in b2b with the ranger, Prof. X can MC the opponent away.

I think I am leaning towards Moondragon cause despite that she has only two clicks of MC she can fly and she can outrange Firelord.

I would like to add that White Queen (R/E) is a great MCer that can defend herself pretty well, as well as being able to penetrate Invulnerability without OUTWIT. Moondragon is a good all-around piece , she can taxi and tk, plus mc and psychic blast. Moondragon has a great range as well!

Controller's MC has short range (4), but pair him up w/ a cheap taxi like Vulture or Wasp and he is a highly effective piece. If the base him he gets Toughness and superstrength. He also has the highest attack of any MCer: 12 on his best click of his Vet version - which is still only 69 points.

it's close between E White Queen and U Moondragon. both have a lot of powers and pluses, but having seen the Queen take out some bricks thanks to her psychic blast, i've gotta go with her.

Moondragon has Psychic Blast after 2 clix which replaces Telekenesis.
