Grenades Question

Greetings, a simple question. Does the grenades mechanic can be used with other (marvel, dc or indy) heroclix? I did read somewhere in the forum that in could only be used between them (gow, halo), that it was a rule included in gow ruling?

I did a search and found nothing, sorry if it had been answered before.

They are considered golden age for tournament purposes, but the grenades mechanic is compatible with all heroclix and can be used any time you use those figures.
