I'm playing in a tourney this week with the above rules. Random partners, so I won't know what to build for.
SM029 Silver Banshee
JL001 Batman
JL007 Icicle
I figure Batman outwits, followed by Icicle doing his copcicle power on one figure, followed by Banshee doing her triple incapacitate power, followed by Batman using OotS to get some extra damage in. This way, I can help keep the opponent covered in action tokens, and get rid of some damage reducers. One problem I can see though, is if my partner also ends up building a support, instead of an attack based team. Ideas?
I think it would be a good idea to sub out Icicle in favor of someone who could bring more to the table. Perhaps a fig who has TK or Probability Control. If you can manage it a wildcard to make use of both the TA's of your other figs. Beware of Cypher though.
I agree on the issue of Icicle. If you're lucky, he gets an incap in once in a while, but he's gonna go down quick with no one to mastermind onto. I dunno what figs you have but if you are looking for a good cheap incapper, AN Ice is fantastic as a support piece. OotS Bats is ok...but if you're looking for a cheap outwitter, there are some better options out there (such as Detective Chimp). I don't like Silver Banshee without a definite tie-up piece, and I don't think of her as support really. Without some wild cards, she's more of a liability if someone runs cypher. If you want someone who can support and pull some punches whos over 100+ points, I think theres better options. I personally love going with someone like Dr. Strange for this kind of situation. He supports with defend, perplex, incap, outwit, and can copy team abilities.
