Hello all. So I just got the supernova deep space map and am looking to abuse it at this sundays tournament. I was hoping you guys could help with this. The tournament is 400 pts. modern age. Obviously I'm building theme so I guarantee winning map choice. This is what I've come up with:

I thought KC magog would be a beast on this map but the only keyword where i can really support him is future. A 2 man brute squad doesn't win map choice and Lyssa drak is perfect but there aren't any other modern heralds to fill it out.

This started as a combat reflexes abuse team with beast, wolfsbane, caliban x-factor squad but the damage output seemed low so I kept the best (beast) and went with perplex abuse. I love doc ock and think he's underrated.

Scrapping the above x-factor combat reflexes army led me to this one instead. So which one should I use, or am I missing something even more devastating? Please disscuss!

Nothing? Come on guys tourney is tomorrow and I don't know if I'm on the right track. Someones gotta know what the best armys are for the deep space map. Maybe Ultron figs with big range but charge to go with?

just FYI, for a 400pt game you will have to have 6 themed characters for generic keywords like scientist or future.

I would heavily suggest building for non-generic keyword (which would require 4 characters for a 400pt build) or possibly just hoping you get map roll.

400pts is tough to build for theme with theme team restrictions now.

From the 2011 Rulebook in regards to building a theme team:

If the shared keyword is a
generic keyword, your force must include at least three
characters for each 300 points (or fraction thereof) of the
game’s build total to be considered a themed team.
