Hi, so I was planning on building a 300 point modern age HYDRA team for an upcoming tournament. I was wondering what would be an ideal HYDRA team? Do the majority of good HYDRA teams use a ton of minions for mastermind fodder and one central figure? Or should I use a team with several heavy hitters, such as Gorgon + Baron Strucker and a minion? Also, on a 300 point team, would several HYDRA agents or several HYDRA officers be better? And if I were to use HYDRA officers, which dial would be better (A or B)? Thanks!
Oh and another thing, which figure is generally better for HYDRA teams- Gorgon, Baron Strucker, or Red Skull? I would say Baron Strucker, but it would be great to hear some opinions. Thanks!
That puts you at 290 points I then put spotter on the RCE Officers just to really mess with accuracy.
But generally the idea is to have the RCE officers hide behind the agents and shoot through them gaing all kindsa advantages from the hyrda TA (and spotter) While Strucker and Leadership officer try to remove tokens and add atleast one action to keep up the pressure. Keep Strucker close, not only to respawn hyrda agents but to move and attack where/when needed. Hyrda agent then (late game) heals strucker from the damage taken from respawning agents.
I like specled Jim's team, I would also consider red skull, elektra, one officer with RCEand two agents for tie-up/mastermind fodder
Those are just two different styles, one range heavy, one close.
I think it would also be neat to play Richard Fisk and elektra (to give her mastermind). And then a number of RCE officers and agents. But with no leadership or fliers it might be hard to keep the fodder in place with elektra.
