First, I'd like to hear some good strategies using the X Men team Ability. I.E. neat tricks that I may have overlooked. Secondly this is more of a rulse question but does the team ability take an action from your total actions fo rthat turn? I assume so....

The X-men team ability will take an action from your total actions for the turn.

Well, It's a good way to keep Jean Greay V and LE on their Support Clicks, and a good way to knock V Beast down to his Support Clicks. If you're on Beast's second to last click, you can push to heal and then take a click back (though it costs two actions). It's been said before, but it's a good way to get Colossus and V White Queen onto their Better Clicks (why do you have to be so expensive Emma? ). The X-men really need a cheap leadership figure (Storm just barely doesn't cut it, as I'd rather pay 12 more and get a better flying energy exploder)

Yeah, I'd rather have the vet as well. Taxi and 4 damage at range is just too good to pass up. Jean is too expensive to be of any good use. The prof is also too expensive for leadership....E Mags is the only real option as he has multiple uses and leadership.

I was wondering if only one figure get's the action token? I'm assuming it's just the one taking damage right?

The figure that actually takes the damage (and a figure MUST take a click of HEALING in order for the damage to occur) is the one that is assigned the action token.

Before Xplosion, I would use it to push Prof X (or to MC someone over 100) and exchange the click to Wolfsbane. Kept Prof strong and going long.

Can you trade a click while in base contact with an enemy?

Yes... this team ability can be used even if both figures are adjacent to opposing figures.

Another person to click damage to (for one point) is Wolfsbane. One click and she's on her best click on her dial.

The other is Wolverine if he's been slightly damaged and you want to get him to the Regeneration click.

Yeah both are good syphons for damage. Anyone with support or Regen are great to use the X men TA.

I've got a question about the X-Men team ability. Can you use it twice on the same character with different figs taking the damage?
For example I have Xavier between Colussus and Wolfsbane and Xavier just MC'ed Savage Hulk can I then give Wolfsbane a click of damage and Xavier a click of healing and then do the same with Colussus taking a click of Xaviers damage?
I know the FAQ says per each pair of X-Men but does this constitute a new pair or not?

I believe you can, since each is a different "pair".

Also, I use the team ability to heal up the oh-so-hard-to-heal Nightcrawler. Something to the effect of "Wolfsbane heals NC with the team ability, then Jean heals Wolfsbane with support"...

Yes you can, its just each one would take one of your actions for the turn. So the MC, and both damage sponges would be 3 total actions.
