I have 41 points to spend on my X Men team....I kinda narrowed it down to U Shadowcat or the Vet. The Vet is basically the second best taxi (behind Goblin) and has no offensive capabilities, while the Unique loses defensive power quickly but mantains some offensive power. So which should I go with?

Depends on your opponant.

If it's for tournament, I'd go with the U... never know when that little bit of EE will help wipe out a Stealthninja team by targeting that Rookie Wasp nearby, and critting, knocking the ninjas out into the open...

If your opponant is more reserved, I'd go with the V... just personal preference.

Go with the U...even if the EE doesn't come in handy, the 2 damage with 4 range still may, let's Kitty help mop up when she isn't on taxi duty.

That was my thought Rufus. The range and extra bit of damage will come in more handy than that extra SS and Phasing. This is for fun, not for a tournament or anything...of course I build fun teams for tournaments too....

If you have her, I'd go with the Exp version and use the extra points to upgrade someone else if possible. Kitty really isn't a great offensive piece. She's a great taxi. Her Exp version has the same movement, defense, and powers of the Vet version.

It's only a 3 point difference from the Unique, that isn't enough to upgrade anyone. She isn't a great offensive piece but much better than the Vet in terms of offense.

Shadowcat should never be exposed to the battle field. Just as a very good taxi!

ANother thing to consider is WHO she is taxing. I have used the U and the range came in handy because my passanger had charge, and once samason charged away, that range let me take a pot shot at the medic while samson smashed mandarin.

However, if your taxiing a ranged person with RCE I would go for E (I like E over V as well...cheaper and same move). Since she will always need to be ready to air lift to safety should someone base your RCE piece.

It depends sometimes she taxi's Storm, sometimes Logan. Although in a game yesterday she toasted some ninjas with EE.....that just in case weaponry made me go with her, I'll probably stick with her too.
