160 CA050 MODOK
150 IH006 Hulk Robot
110 IH209 The Leader
40 IH005 Humanoid x2
Total 500 Points
I'm thinking about buying these pieces, but since I'm still fairly new, I just thought I would ask. I love all these characters, and it just seems like it would be a lot of fun to play! Thanks!
Edit: Or I could do this team:
178 IH028 Red Hulk
160 CA050 MODOK
110 IH209 The Leader
40 IH005 Humanoid
5 Lunge
Total 493 Points
I would put Lunge on Red Hulk, since it has been confirmed in the forums that he would be able to attack twice.
I really like your team gnrlturner! I was just using the other Leader because I was anxious to try out that double mind control, but I will definitely keep this in mind though.
Hey, I run the first team you came up with a lot except I use the 100 pt The Leader instead. The reason I prefer this one is because of his TK on the first dial and Humanoid resurrection. If you run this team it is 490pt. The Leader + Hulk Robot + Modok + Humanoid + Humanoid = 490pt (Add a special object) OR replace a humanoid for AI Marine for an even 500pt. AI Marine will be able to boost Modok through the Hydra Team ability but the downside is The Leader has one less chance to do the humanoid resurrection.
Thanks for the susggestion dbern50! How has this team held up for you? One of my friends loves to play cheese teams (Nightcrawler), and my other friend plays a lot of Superman teams.
CA050 MODOK 160
IH006 Hulk Robot 150
IH014 The Leader 100
IH005 Humanoid 40
IH005 Humanoid 40
Shellhead on Hulk Robot?
Total 490 Points
I always play protection when feats are allowed. I would put protection on Hulk Robot. Have him be your main tie up while humanoids scramble for big objects they can carry. Then tked your next turn! All the while Modok is shooting. Your opponent gets a big hit on Hulk Robot, bam.. protection and he takes no pushing damage.
I like the second of the above 2 teams.
I've found that hulk robot isn't too good for the points as his cost is inflated (b/c of power cosmic TA)
I would run the first team with GF red hulk instead, leaving you 5 pts for special object.
Don't forget that the 110pt leader can also be a great brilliant tactician piece
This is team that I would enjoy running-
160 CA050 MODOK
110 IH209 The Leader
155 IH210 Red Hulk
40 IH005 Humanoid
comes out to 465
add brilliant tactician to leader
485
that leaves points for whatever other feats you might want to use
I really like that team a lot RocketR123! I think I would add a Violet Lantern for The Leader to make his Mind Control even more deadly. lol
Okay, I have a question. Would you be able to use Brilliant Tactician on the 110pt Leader, since it says that he can use perplex instead of it saying that he has it? Because my playgroup is under the impression that when figures say that they can use a power, they actually don't possess it. We used to play VS System before HeroClix, so we really scrutinize the wording. lol
To be eligible for a feat the character just has to be able to use, not necessarily possess, the power.
