What do you guys think is a better way to spend 300 points- 2 Supes at 150 or 1 at 300?
I'm debating running a cheese 600 point scientist team with PX and Researchers and would like some input

Run the 001 @ 150 and the FF Doc Manhattan.
Here's a team I ran
Doc 150
Supes 150
Leader (Double Outwit)
Prof X
Researcher
In the end it really comes down to: how competitive is the environment at your venue? If you are expecting to face teams like that, then by all means bring that to combat it. If your venue is laid back and more casual, why bring a nuke to a nerf fight?
I played in my first real tournament in about 4 years on Tuesday. I consider myself a pretty good player, and I built a decent team. Nothing too min./max. This was my team:
Once I saw the guys I was playing, and the teams they had, I dropped the Bomb and never used it in one game. I went 3-0, and none of the games were close. First game I lost 1 Soldier, and took all but one of his figures. Second game I lost 2 Soldiers, and wiped the other team. Final game, I lost Project: Superman and wiped the other team. I didn't even play that hard, putting my team right out there (despite the fact that I out ranged all 3 teams I played against).
So, yeah, it really all depends on the play environment at the place you play.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
if it's going to be a competitive scene, then 2 Supes are better than one. If you're running Prof X, it gives you one more piece to shoot through. Plus 2>1 when it comes to outwit (basic math FTW!!!)
If his question was 1 superman at 300 or 1 superman at 150 you'd be right. But he asked 1 vs 2 and 2 at 150 is significantly better.
My play group has tested this a lot and 2 is definitely better in the forces we tested. You get more mobility, twice the outwit and 3 more damage. It also keeps your eggs in two baskets in case of an unforeseen alpha strike or hypersonic/impervious outwit.

It is absolutely the 300 points. Sure, if you're facing a wimpy team, two 150 Supermen will clean up quickly, whereas the 300 might take up more of the time killing your opponents. But if the other team is any good, and your opponent is smart, one attack will have one of your Supermen reeling, leaving the other to pick up the slack.
Remember, you can always turn off Indomitable and push the 300 from click 5 to 6, making him essentially the 150 point one. So even in the worst-case scenario (an opponent's figure can deal exactly 4 damage to whichever Superman he wants, and it makes little difference that you have 18 defense instead of 17) the 300-point one is only worse by as much as you value a click-10 Superman.
So, most of the time, I would say the 300-point one. Of course, there are caveats to this. Sometimes, you need two fliers instead of one. Sometimes, you need two Outwits instead of one (I actually saw someone using two Amadeus Chos last time I played). But most of the time, you don't absolutely need those things, so don't throw away all the advantages of the 300 point monster for them. Hope this game works out for you.
That's Absorbing Man, btw. But I do love my abs, too.
I know it's not EXACTLY what you're looking for here, but this thread, in small part due to my analysis, was a big turnaround for many people. About this time, a lot of Heroclix players realized that the 150 point Superman really wasn't all he was cracked up to be. Compared to a pretty random figure, he actually came out worse.
