Need Suggestions for a Ridiculously "Cheesy" Team to Prove a Point...
If I wanted to make a ridiculously-over-the-top team using 1 "broken" figure from each "genre" of HeroClix, what would you recommend? Marvel, DC and Trek, I think I've got down, but the others, I'm not sure.
Marvel - Bencrawler
DCU - Metron
Watchmen - Dr. Manhattan
Gears of War - General RAAM
Star Trek- USS Montgolfier
The question marks for me are Indy, Street Fighter, LOTR, and especially HALO.
It's not that I really consider any of these pieces "broken" in and of themselves, especially Metron and the Montgolfier, but they're ones that everyone talks and/or complains about.
What are the "broken" / "insanely good" pieces from the genres I'm missing?

When it comes to Superman and Batman, Grant Morrison is nothing but a 50's cover band in a 70's psychedelic funk style.

Dr. Manhattan is DCU. You have 2 different DCU characters in there...

DC owns the Watchmen, but they're not part of the DCU. It's a separate entity, and might as well be an entirely separate property. But that's just me. If it pains people that much, I'd take Manhattan over Metron for these purposes.
All that being said, I love how the two responses to this thread (so far) fail to address the actual question... but thanks anyway.

I would say that the first guy would be addressing the question. They might not be broken on their own, but they are definitely nothin to scoff at. I would consider what he said to be broken, so you might want to add some extra parameters or something if that is not the kind of response that you want.

Uhm, I think my post is rather clear... I'm looking for those pieces from Indy, Street Fighter, LOTR and HALO that people consider "broken."
A team/strategy involving Darkseid and horde tokens doesn't actually answer the question that I asked... In other words, it would help if people actually read the post and not just the title.

Is that not broken though? It includes LOTR. You have to look at the whole picture. Just mashing a bunch of individually broken figures together might not be as broken as you would think.

Which is actually the point I'm trying to make to someone at my venue. But, in order to accomplish that, I need a little more information on the genres of clix that I don't have much experience with myself. I don't know the SF, HALO or Indy pieces all that well, and there's nothing (to my thinking) inherently "broken" in LOTR.
So, again, I'm asking - what are the pieces from Street Fighter, HALO, LOTR and Indy clix that people consider "broken" or at the very least "ridiculously good" or "arguably cheesy" for the points. Are there even pieces like that in those sets?
It'd be nice if someone would actually answer the question I'm asking, instead of what you think I should be asking...

My comment was constructive, whether you want to view it that way or not.
How 'bout this for a try?
Don't be lazy, and go look at the damn UNITS section rather than posting a vague question, and then berating people trying to help you.

...sigh...
No one's got anything in a twist, here, mate. Your comment was certainly not inaccurate, we just came from two different perspectives on Watchmen. Yet, it didn't actually answer the question, nor did you even attempt to, so I was rather nonplussed, and here you are, sidestepping again.
It's a simple question, not vague at all. Is there a piece in Street Fighter that players say is "broken"? Is there one in HALO? Looking at the dials in the Units section and through a fair chunk of the comments, I'm not seeing anything that I would consider broken... but I'm trying to get some feedback from other players. What's the scuttlebutt? What pieces are people complaining about? What's the "uber-piece" from HALO, if there is one?
It's simple. Why is it so hard to answer?

OK, not sure if I'm helping or hurting, but from what I have heard, (as I don't play them myself,) is that the Evil Ryu is the broken one from SF. After looking at his dial, I can't imagine why ...... but like I said, I've heard him spoken about as if he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
For LotR, I would suggest either Legolas or Gandalf. They both are pretty nasty IMO.
I cannot help you with Indy sir, as it was way before my time, and I have no interest whatsoever. Same goes for HALO in the interest department.
(Also I'd like to point out that I don't think any fig in and of itself is "broken." Except maybe Nightcrawler.... that is the one fig that makes no sense to me for 86 points, but I digress. It's TEAMS that break the fig in almost all other cases.) IMO
Intellectuals! Liberals! Peacemongers! IDIOTS!
"Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity. More than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness."
Oh yeah, and I would also submit to you that the Enterprise-E is far superior /borken to the Montgolfier.
Just a suggestion

To be short, and answer your question as completely as possible:
LotR- Legolas or Gandalf. Legolas really becomes more "broken" with a little bit of support, especially from gollum.
SF- Akuma, on roughly 1/2 his clix and with Goshuryuken, has the ability to do 8-20 damage in one turn, depending on roles and click you're on.
Halo- Prophet of Regret is maybe the closest I would vote to broken?
Indy- Don't know the Indyclix.
This being said, I don't really think any of these clix come anywhere near broken, overpowered, or cheesy. I guess just the ones I would have to vote for if forced.

Evil Ryu is "broken" in terms of a Street Fighter only match. He's the only character in the entire set with Stealth, and has the longest range of any character in the set, so he gets to play the range-game from total protection. He's got Invulnerability, and if you look at the Street Fighter characters' damage output, that puts him squarely in the top tier. IF you manage to damage Ryu past his Invulnerable/Stealth clicks, he has Plasticity, Poison, and every character in SF is a "Martial Artist" so his Poison does penetrating damage in addition to his standard strikes doing penetrating damage, and he never drops below a 9 atk.

No. Akuma is not nearly as strong as Evil Ryu. The Double-Power Actions are crap, crap, crap. They damage you, they require too much setup time.
