Can he actually hit items and move them along with him as well? Like hitting a lantern or something to move it closer to a character who needs to use it?

As far as I know he can. I'm not sure about immovable objects though. (only not sure because he can pretty much move everything else... )

He used to be able to evacuate immobile objects, but can't any more. That changed with the 2011 Rule Book
