Just want to be sure I'm playing this correctly but I couldn't find it on searching the realms.
CA023 Nick Fury has the special power:
YOU HAVE YOUR ORDERS, NOW MOVE!: Nick Fury can use Stealth. When you give Nick Fury a move action, at the end of the turn, remove an action token from another friendly character that was given a move action this turn and possesses the Howling Commandos, Secret Warriors, or S.H.I.E.L.D. keyword.
Move action is defined in the 2011 Rule Book glossary as:
MOVE ACTION: An action given to a character that allows it to move up to its speed value in squares and/or make a break away attempt.
So if Nick Fury is based and makes a break away attempt you could remove a token from another friendly character with the correct keywords that had been given a move action even if the break away fails?
Fury is based. You declare that you are giving him a move action. Because he is based you must first attempt to break away. If you fail you still satisfy the requirements for checks against whether Fury was given a move action because he attempted to break away.
