Can Silver Surfer carry The Champion? Or because of the first sentence, the part about ignoring Battle Fury only applies to single based characters.

Surfer can't carry the Champion because he is a double base clix.

last sentence under Attacking and Multi-Base Characters

"They can be carried if their combat symbols allow it."

Most of them in the past have been Transporters, Fliers, or Duo's and have lead to the assumption that they cannot be carried

Since there's already a thread for Surfer. If I counter Surfer's does that also counter his ability to Carry? Or does his Trait give him the ability to Carry?

This came up in the final round tonight, wasn't sure so we went with the judges ruling. Though if he loses the ability to Carry with the loss of then he can't carry. I had mentioned that his Trait just allows him to carry two figures instead of one.

You don't counter the wing speed symbol! You counter the flight ability OR the carry ability!

Well, haven't you then answered your own question? Countering Flight does nothing to stop him from using Carry. If you counter Carry, then yes, it does kill off his trait, because the trait does not specifically grant him the Carry ability.

See, I had thought that is how it would be. Though I went with the judge's ruling. So I just countered his ability to fly so the Hindering terrain would slow his movement down.

Had it been ruled the other way that last game would've been mine...well had I had another turn it would've been mine as well. Try chasing down Surfer carrying two Drax figures on the Runner's map with all that blocking terrain and only Thanos on your team.

Can the Surfer Carry Giants? I'm only asking because the idea of him Carrying 2 AVM Destroyers makes me laugh

it says "up to two" not when he carries 2. this might be a weird example but its something i just thought of really quick:
it's like saying i can carry up to 100 pounds while eating. does that mean i can only eat while carrying 100 pounds? no, just that i can carry 100 pounds or less and still eat. hope that makes sense.

You missed what he was saying. He was referring to the fact that is says single based, not that it says 2 characters. CA 040 Captain America is not a single based figure.
