This one happened to me in a game:
If a figure with HSS moves into hindering terrain, and into base to base contact with an opponent simultaneously, can the HSS figure still attack that turn?
Also, if the figure can still attack, can it move out of the hindering terrain as the second part of the drive by attack?
Other HSS questions:
When a HSS attack generates knockback, does it generate knockback for all of the damage, or only for the last point?
If a figure has HSS and energy steal, Blades/Claws/Fangs or Incapacitate can it use those powers with the HSS 'drive by' and 'flurry' attacks?
If yes, please clarify when the power may be selected for use and turned off, and what the effects are.

I am afraid that the Hypersonic Speed figure may not attack after entering the hindering terrain. Entering hindering terrain ends your movement.

Nope. Once again, the movement has come to an end.

Knockback is based of all of the damage inflicted in the attack. A Hypersonic Speed Attack is considered a single attack in all respects. This is how it is able to overcome defensive powers such as Toughness.

Currently, no figure fit the description you have provided. No figure can have both Flurry and Hypersonic Speed since these are both movement powers. Regarding Blades/Claws/Fangs, Incapacitate, or Energy Steal, this seems theoretically possible. After all, the OWAW Superman is able to use Super Strength and Hypersonic Speed together.
If yes, please clarify when the power may be selected for use and turned off, and what the effects are.
Hmmm. I am honestly not sure if any of these powers would work any differently in conjunction with a Hypersonic Speed Attack. Of course, we are talking about a figure that does not exisit.
I can say this. A Hypersonic Speed figure with Blades/Claws/Fangs would cost a whole lot of points to add to your team.

No. Pretty much once you enter Hindering terrain, your movement and therefore the action are immediately over. You would not get to attack at all.

It would generate knockback for all of the damage.

A figure with HSS would NOT be able to use any other supers powers during this attack. Unlike Running Shot and Charge (which specifically state in their PAC descriptions that other powers can be used), HSS does not state that it can be used with other powers.

No. As stated before, the character must stop moving when they enter Hindering Terrain. Once they stop their movement if over. Unless they are a flier though....

It would generate Knockback immediately when you have rolled for it. If the character can suffer Knockback when you roll it during the HS attack, they are knocked back and the action is over.

Steal Energy and BCF would work (and make the figure in question darned expensive!) but Flurry would be harder. Both Flurry and HSS are Movement powers. We have yet to see a non-promo figure that has two powers of the same type (speed, attack, defense or damage) on the same click in HC.

"Cats."
Actually, the promo Batman you speak of doesn't have two powers on his first click - it's a green spot to represent his starting point before they came up with the line.
