Got my Galactus in the post to find that each of the dials are completely the wrong place thanks to some lazy chinese factory worker not doing their job correctly.

Anyone able to direct me on how to open it without damaging the base?

Video instruction would be nice

How about just telling your opponents and maybe re-labeling the dials?

I'd be willing to bet that the "lazy" factory worker works a lot harder than you for a lot less money. Just sayin'.

Same thing happened to me, but its just the herald dial mixed with another one, and since I don't plan on playing it and GenCon or anything, it's not really a big deal.

This would be a non-issue for me if you were able to take apart the base. If you are going to have shoddy QC, then you might as well have a way to fix it yourself easily.

Not hard enough as they put the dials in the wrong place.

I really wanted to say something, but couldn't put it more efficiently than this. QFT.

its take glued over the pegs, I had this issue and used small flat head screw drivers and wedged them into the base and slowly pried all the way around till the base came apart. Put the dials in the right location and glued it back together and WALLA a perfect Big G.

So it's actually glued down inplace? Hmm .. did you start from one dial and work your way around the rim to get it to pry open?

Might try getting a wall scrapper and see how that goes

its a series of pegs that interlock, they are glued together. I started at one end and worked my way around. At some points I feared Id break it but the glue gives pretty easy. Dont be afraid to apply some force.

Chewed the edge getting it opened and damaged two of the dials slightly but thankfully i could just push the torn paper back to show the number. I'll have to live with the edge being abit chewed up.

Maybe i can swap it with my mates Galactus and hope he doesn't notice

Yes, I'm sure you've NEVER made a mistake while doing your job.

Making a mistake or two is one thing, and everyone does it from time to time.

But this sounds like it's happened to several people on here, who saw this thread, alone. If that's the case, how many more are out there that aren't opened? How many went to people who aren't HCRealms Members (even though they should be)?

This isn't an isolated incident with Wizkids. We've been seeing this kinda stuff for a LONG time.

I may not agree with the way the OP stated his case. But he does have one.
