Art Thou Too Craven To Fight?: Give Thor a free action if he has no action tokens and choose an opposing character within Thor's range and line of fire that is not adjacent to any other characters. During its next turn, that character must attack Thor or be given a move action.
I Am No Mortal!: Thor can use Toughness and Willpower.

What's His Play?
Looking at that dial, we can see a simple but devastating progression of how the battle could go.

• Thor flies in and throws his hammer Mjolnir with a Running Shot.
• Thor sends lightning bolts in all directions using (the best power in the game)Pulse Wave... and the hammer.
• Later, Thor taunts a villain with his free action Special Power, then to add injury to insult he throws the hammer even harder! (With Ranged Combat Expert.)
• Thor learned English in around 1570 AD, so the worst insult he can think of is "hapless craven". But it still works in the 21st century; thugs and lackeys think he's mocking their lilliputian vocabularies!
• Thor sends an ally to tie-up the taunted villain, who can't attack that ally - he's forced to try a breakaway to get to Hammer Lad.

Massive damage and board control accomplished, and we're not even halfway through Thor's dial! Are you getting excited for Chaos War yet?

This Thor is part of the Chaos War 10 figure "micro" set sold in single figure boosters (MSRP $2.99). Look for it at your local game stores starting on June 27th!

The Orange Line
I'm no genius, but I would call this a good-sized clue that we'll see a Doctor Donald Blake character in a HeroClix set this year.
Thor is not your ordinary Alter Ego - his godlike Willpower will let you act on the next turn after transforming. Flying five spaces to Exploit somebody's Weakness or Quaking henchmen to the ground like so many Strogg underlings is pretty darn good for 33 points, even if we don't know Dr. Blake's dial!

An Avengers keyword Thor with Avengers team ability! That makes 2 in the same year!!!

I like it, and I want to see more Avengers just like it.

The Alter-Ego dial for 33 points is BONKERS if you can get it.

While I think I like the idea of that attack SP, it seems like you won't get to use it much. Otherwise the 9s and the 8 are a little too much on the 175 point dial but everything else is nice.

Look! Another Thor!

Very crafty Thor. I always like to see Thor with at least an 11 attack. But he can ruin somebody's day for sure. His taunt is great! Can't wait to see Dr. Blake.

I just cant understand how the hell those last three clicks are only worth 33pts. Best value in the game IMO

Love the sculpt. Dial is decent but nothing I'm getting excited over. Will be really fun in sealed games.

The very definition of unnecessary, but I do like myself some AE figures.

But then, there's probably one in the main set, too. The CW/MA/whatever miniset is shaping up to be the easiest one to skip ever.

It's an AE, so at least you can't just pay 33 and start with him in the game. Or has the fig that AE's into this been shown already, and is easy to swap?

I had to make sure this wasn't Mighty Thorr's "revert" dial from the set. Even still, I like it.

i like that this is "blonde week." this is a very range-heavy thor which doesn't fit my comic accurate tastes but will play well, especially as a 9click fig for 175. the attack SP's taunt mechanic is a nice addition to the game
