I think I know the answer to this but I'm building a team for this weekend and want to be sure.

So if I have at team of characters with the Underworld TA, but different keywords, does that still count as theme?

No. Only keywords count for theme team.

All of the figures on a theme team AT THE START OF THE GAME must share a keyword.

Team Abilities are irrelevant for creating theme teams.

However, I have always felt characters that share team abilities should automatically be themed together, but that is a discussion for a different thread.
