My apologies for not being able to post the new wording. I'm on my phone so if someone could post it that would be great.
It now states when two characters are adjacent you can "immediately" use Outwit as as a free action. Does this mean you can now use running shot to come up beside a friendly character with the TA and immediately use Outwit before making the attack?
I've got a feeling this is not the case but I thought I would ask since I'll be using it this afternoon.
"The world is mine. To mold as I see fit. To create a world as only Doom might. Yes. There will be ponies." - Emperor Doom
My best guess means that it translates in layman to the following;
You can have the higher point character use the Outwit only when it is adjacent to the lower point one, as a free action, and not during another action (Like running shot). The Outwit would last until the beginning of your next turn though.
"It is a fool's prerogative to utter truths that no one else will speak." "Prove you have the strength and courage to be free."
SUPERMAN ENEMY
When two friendly characters that can use the Superman Enemy team ability are adjacent to each other, the character with the higher point value may be given a free action to immediately use Outwit. That character can use Outwit until the beginning of your next turn, if it cannot use Outwit already and continues to use this ability. If the two characters have the same point value, their controller chooses which is treated as the higher point character this turn.
Before the immediately was added, some argued that you could use the TA to "get" Outwit, but then choose to use the Outwit later in the turn (maybe after some characters have moved around and LOF is clear or something). That's not how this works, though. As soon as you use this TA to get Outwit, you must then immediately use Outwit.

Just double checking for my sanity:
You don't have to use the free action immediately as the two become adjacent, correct?
This is to keep the figure from gaining outwit, having the lower point figure move out of the way (example), and then use outwit.
To make it clear, When my turn starts and use all game effects and/or free actions in turn of my choosing. Which one of the last things I can choose to do before a non-free action occurs is activate the use of Outwit from the highest point adjacent friendly character with the Superman Team Ability. Correct?
Wild Card question. Then if I move a character with either Superman Enemy TA/Wild Card TA next to another character with Superman Enemy TA/Wild Card TA (one of the characters possesses Superman Enemy TA) in the middle of even the end of my turn, the Wild Card TA, chooses Superman Enemy TA. I can then make an immediate use of Outwit. Correct?
Not being a doink, just wanted the whole effective use on to play and what another player could expect to see in a game with Superman Enemy TA.
Thanks ahead of time guys.

Reason: addition in grammer

You don't have to use the TA as soon as the become adjacent, no. In fact, depending on the circumstance, you may not even be able to do so (for example, in the middle of a Charge or Running Shot).
But once you DO give one of them a free action to use the TA, you must use the Outwit immediately.
just an extra clarification once a character is adjacent and uses outwit the effects of the outwit remains even if set characters aren't adjacent after the initial use correct?
