Just thought you'd like to share what your favority sneaky move is when the opportunity presents itself (since my dice disrespect me, I tend to depend on these).
"Sometimes it's a good day to die, and sometimes it's a good day to have breakfast.."
One of my newer favorite tactics has to do with Telekenisis.
My bro who I usually play against, really likes TK and usually takes 3-4 Mandroids. The thing with TK is you usually have to set it up, especially if you are double-TK'ing. Usually, Someone is left next to a Mandroid.
I'll set up Probobility Control with LOS to the Mandroid, then target the Mandroid w/ a Mind Control attack. Then, I have the Mandroid go for a TK attack on the person who he is adjacent to. Usually, you will need a good roll, but that's what the PC is there for. The TK attack hits, and the Mandroid moves the target fig right next to a group of Melee figs, who then tee off on him.
The first time I used this trick was against Thanos, and I had 2 PC's to make sure it worked. Thanos was widdled down and KO'ed fairly easily.
Can't be telling ya DoubleA, incase I run up against you this weekend. (Comic Book Shoppe 2 Saturday)
No nasty tactics really, and it's more dice rolls anyways. I'm sure you even now still remember a U Electra 12 roll and 6 on bcf to remove old Doc Occ from the board
Later.
KILOWOG not KILOWAG, KILAWOG or KILAWAG ROGUE not ROUGE (which happens to be RED in French) GRAVITON not GRAVITRON (Decepticon that never got made?)
My favorite is to place a R, E, and V Destiny in front of R Invis Girl on an object, about 1/4 of the way up on the map on a rooftop to give LoF across most of the map. If you attack anyone, you have to re-roll 1 to 3 times. To hit anyone in the grouping and gte rid of PC, you have to roll against an 18, and be PC'ed one to three times. If by some miracle you roll four successful hits, you still have Destiny's Super Senses to contend with.
And all this only costs 109 pts, leaving almost a full 200 point army to support it!
Whenever someone asks me what I think the most dangerous animal is, i tell them it has to be a shark riding on an elephant, just eating and trampling everything in sight.
I just like carrying a Rookie Taskmaster with Sauron... Pop in, two BCF's with good AV's, and a few toasty enemies.
Another good day at work. All the computers up and running. All employees happy and ready for tomorrow. All customers satisfied. All pigs fed and ready to fly."
While this doesn't exactly fit with LOAC but I've found it convenient to take out the medic before the game even gets going. Only works if they're placed in the front line.
Along the same lines is to Kill the weak taxi with your first strike. My opponent had set up rookie iceman to taxi Vet taskmaster, Rookie Iceman does with 4 clicks of damage.
Deathbird carryies Storm her full 10 movement then Storm RCEs, no more iceman. I'm a big fan of being more mobile than my opponent so if they have just a couple taxis and little RS or Charge I will often target the taxis as my #1 priority
Yo, fa real I think da nastiest is mind controllin' mind control. I did dis once to Moondragon when she be totin Elektra wit da White Queen. Queen had Moondragon mind control Elektra who den sliced up Moondragon with BCF fa five clicks. Since mah homey Lil' G Roc wuzn't comin' wit any medic heat, Moondragon wuz done like Mario Van Peebles movie career. Ta make it even more wicked, Elektra had ta push and took a click a damage an' was double pebbled. Lil' G wuz furious when I cold-cocked him wit dat badness. Shield choirs will deal wit opposin' ballaz wit' a quickness too. Ova!

I remember and unfortunately Doc still recalls the horror - you don't know how hard it is to coax him out of his Heroclix tray!
