Is the turret a special object? It has the special object symbol (that still isn't available to paste in here), but doesn't introduce any new special text. It's just a standard ultra-heavy object. It also has a cost, unlike every other standard object in the game.
So, is it a special object or a standard object? Can it be used on teams with the gauntlet? Are ultra-heavy objects inherently special objects?

Special object symbol= it's a special object.

WOW......that kinda sucks in a world where Infinity Gauntlets and soon to be Bat Belts exist
So you're saying we should use the outliers as the baseline for power level? That would mean that every other 86 point figure is obsolete because WoS Nightcrawler exists, right?

What I'm saying is if this object is considered a Special and you have to choose between doing +3 damage one time using an attack that could miss or using something as powerful as the Infinity Gauntlet which works all game, chances are your gonna choose option B when making your team. Now if you can't use the IG because of the rules of the event your at, then yeah, This things cool.
I was hoping Super-heavies would all be special objects, and if even the vanilla type costs 2 points, it looks like I'm in the clear. Thank you WizKids!

fixed that for you.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

I don't get this point at all.
As of this moment, I have to assume you are using the IG in every game. So you are foregoing all special objects already. No Nova Helmet, Crimson Gem, Lanterns, Aerial Bafflers, etc.
Which is fine but the vast majority of players I know, including myself, use Special Objects over the Gauntlet already.
Now granted, I'm not one to put the Gauntlet on Maelstrom, a colossal, Metron, etc but for me, Tank Turret + Computer 3-d and the Shield Disruptor are > Infinity Gauntlet on my teams. (combo costs 2 points vs 40 to boot!)
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
but this symbol is also to 3-D OBJECT: A three-dimensional sculpture marked with the symbol.
so, all 3D objet are special object?
If it is an actual 3-D object, yes. Some standard objects are more than just a cardboard disc (see Foom's Finger, Silver Anvil, etc), but they are not special, marked with a gear symbol, 3-D objects.
Here's the bit from the rule book you really need (page 19):
SPECIAL OBJECTS Special objects are objects (either tokens or 3-D objects) marked with the [gear] symbol. They represent items on the battlefield that create special effects or grant characters holding or using them special abilities. Regardless of which player places a special object, any player can use its abilities, and all players are subject to its effects. The abilities of the special object continue whether the object is being held or occupying a square, though some objects may specify that their effects are ignored when they are held.

Most of them are, but not all 3D objects are special objects. The exceptions are the Silver Mjolnir from Hammer of Thor (standard heavy), Fin Fang Foom's finger from GSX (standard heavy) and Captain America's Shield from the Captain America set's prize kit (standard light).
