If, T was on top of the building, sure. If he's behind the building on a lower elevation, then no.
Basicaly, my understanding is if the target is on the same elevation or higher, then the Giant/colossal can see them. If there is a higher elevation, or blocking terraing (on the same or higher) between the G/C and the target then they can not Draw line of fire
If T is not a giant or colossal, and if the building is represented by either blocking terrain or elevated terrain, then the line of fire will be blocked.
Not sure what you mean by 'normal rules'. The normal LOF rules DO say that the LOF is blocked in this case. You'd need some special exception, like Cosmic Spider-Man for LOF to be clear.

Just wondering because on some out door maps there are places to hide that collosals cannot get to.
Right, but then you probably also can't get to the colossals, either. So it turns into a stand off.
And if it is one of the really rare cases where you can attack the colossal without it attacking back, then good for you... you are using the map to your advantage. I hope your opponent wasn't the one who selected it, or he'll really be kicking himself later.

This is why losing map choice when you are playing Galactus is devastating. Your opponent picks Bizzaroworld and goes and hides in that hole of level 2 elevated which is completely safe from Galactus considering there are only like two positions in which any 6x3 fig can stand in on that map. Then you wait for them to spin their gauntlet up and kiss you Galactus goodbye.

Plan ahead.
I like colossals as much as anyone, but I try to never play JUST the colossal. Everyone needs backup!
Even Galactus needs a herald.

If there is blocking terrain, or terrain that acts like blocking(Like elevated terrain), on the same elevation as, or higher than the lowest character involved; Then Line of fire is blocked.
I'm still a newbie here. I've read and mostly understand these posts, but I'm having some difficulty getting clarity on the original poster's question. So, if I can ask again and not annoy anyone too much...
GREAT SIZE: ... This character may draw lines of fire (and have lines of fire drawn to it) as if the character occupied the elevation equal to or greater than the elevation it occupies, using the elevation level with the least restrictive line of fire. ...
So if the colossal is standing on elevation 1 behind a building that is elevation 2 and the target is a regular sized character on elevation 1, you cannot draw LOF as if the colossal was on elevation 2? Is this because the colossal is not considered to be at the the rim of the building and thus cannot draw LOF through elevation 2 squares that are technically in front of it?
I suppose I'm clarifying this for myself out loud, but it's good to get confirmation.

If I understand your description correctly, you've got it right.
1 C 1 2 2 2 1 T
C can use Great Size and T can't. In that case, the only square of elevated terrain T can draw LOF to is the red highlighted one. Even if C was in the blue highlighted one, there still would be no LOF, because that square is back from the rim. It is the same reason why:
3 3 3 2 1
3 3 A 2 B
3 3 3 2 1
A and B can't draw LOF to each other... there is elevated terrain in the way.
You have it correct. A building of a higher elevation than the target will block line of fire in your scenario. You would have to be on the rim to have line of fire.
EXAMPLE A:
1 1 1 2 2 1 1
1 R 1 2 2 1 C
1 1 1 2 2 1 1
Line of fire between the Regular size character and Colossal is blocked by elevation 2.
EXAMPLE B:
1 1 1 2 2 1 1
1 G 1 2 2 1 C
1 1 1 2 2 1 1
Let's say we have a Giant and a Colossal.
They both possess Great Size, which means "This character may draw lines of fire (and have lines of fire drawn to it) as if the character occupied the elevation equal to or greater than the elevation it occupies, using the elevation level with the least restrictive line of fire."
G and C can both have lines of fire drawn to them as if they occupied elevation 2, so line of fire is clear.

Your understanding of the mechanics here is correct. Just a small point: you can draw LOF as if the colossal was on elevation 2, but that does not allow for a clear LOF to the standard figure on elevation 1.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Got it - now I'm seeing it perfectly thanks to the quality of responses in this thread.
Really, the Great Size issue seems to get a player's mind wrapped up in "OoooO he's big and shiny and tall and special" and he forgets that the rules for LOF haven't changed a dang bit! (At least, that's what I was probably doing!)
