ILLUSIONARY SWAP: Sargon the Sorcerer can use Smoke Cloud. When he does, he may exchange any two non-immobile objects in the game with each other, as long as one of the objects occupies or is being carried by a character who occupies the same square as one of the hindering terrain markers he placed. If a chosen object was carried, the replaced object is carried.
Could Sargon pull Gems off the Gauntlet? Only ONE of the objects in the swap needs to be on the board...

I'd say no, because neither object can be an immobile and the gems are. He also needs to exchange the objects, which means the one on the board would need to go where the other had been: if you couldn't do that then I'd think you'd be unable to use the power either.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
“No matter how subtle the wizard, a knife between the shoulder blades will seriously cramp his style.”
His power specifies in the game, not on the board. We've already had a ruling that things that effect objects in the game with no other criteria could effect the gems. What stops him here is the type of object he's allowed to effect.

Illusionary Swap: Sargon the Sorcerer can use Smoke Cloud. When he does, he may exchange any two heavy or light objects in the game with each other, as long as one of the objects occupies or is being held by a character who occupies the same square as one of the hindering terrain markers he placed. If a chosen object was held, the replaced object is held.
You can swap 2 Heavy or light objects with each other... Both objects have to be Light or heavy.

Yeah but it was not from the Player's Guide, which is the best place. Especially since the power was not accurate as quoted which means it was probably from the Units section which can be the worst place to get quotes since they are human errors and not updated with the player's guide.

Argument Resolved. Read the bold, and use your common sense...

Again, that is the incorrect wording of the power! Look at my first post for the correct power.

In any case, he cannot effect the gems because they are not the correct types of objects. Move along, now...

Are you sure? Since you are not using the gems' cards when attached to the gauntlet, they are no longer defined as immobile, so wouldn't they have to be light or heavy? Or do they become non-light, non-heavy, non-immobile objects while attached to the gauntlet?

They are neither light nor heavy. Sargon needs a light or heavy. Simple as that.
It would not matter since the power is specific in that they need to be heavy or light.

As said a couple times already in this thread, that wording is incorrect. They need to light or heavy.

Seriously guys, if you are going to try to make arguments about this stuff, at least make sure you've got your ducks in a row first
