900 point golden age KC green lantern tentpole team
He's great by himself but since this is the first and possible only time I'll be able to use him I'm going nuts with it. This is my green Lantern Tentpole team.
Green Lantern 225 Mental Shields 15, Shellhead 10, Fortitude 25, streak of luck 5, Protected 8
Black Alice 94 Inside Information 4
Per Degaton 90
The Riddler 90
Amadeus Cho 59
Dream Girl 50
Jason Blood 44
Isis 94
Kid Zoom 87
Interesting. I can see your going with Lots of Prob to keep KC GL from getting hit. I would sprinkle in a little more efficient Perplex. One of my favorite things with KC GL is to give him ICWO and put Oracle on the card so he can use Perplex himself and then sort-of-perplex with ICWO. Then you usually only need one more cheap perplex to keep him sitting on a 22.
The thing I don't like about the team is the lack of a real secondary attacker. Honestly with John Constantine, the ICWO Oracle, and a cheap perplex (Con Artist) along with Protected he should be nigh-unhittable and for 117 points. For 124 you could throw in Danger to stop the opponent from getting Stats bonus' to attack. I would really like to see some more offensive output on this team.
If you really want to spam Prob then may I suggest FF Superman (150pts) and Shazam/Black Adam and the aforementioned Danger? All of them are solid attackers with starting Prob.

jtallday- Jon I wouldn't challenge you if I wasn't sure you are wrong cuz I don't have that kind of energy.
Let me add a little more to my earlier thought. On a 300pt team you really need like a 150+pt character to have a tentpole imo, and most likely 200+pts. So at 900 I'm thinking you really need to have a 450+pt character to consider him your tentpole. I'm not arguing semantics, which are somewhat unimportant here. What I'm trying to point out is that the damage output that KC GL is capable is insufficient to be your ONLY Primary Attacker at 900 pts.
With RCE and a perplex KC GL can do 7 damage. He can only act 2/3 turns so at best you're only averaging a little less than 5 damage per turn (14/3). At 900 that is EXTREMELY low. Your goal with the team seems to be "Keep KC GL alive" and I think your team does that very well. I doubt KC GL will get KO'd. But the rest of your team may get KO'd. And KC GL probably can't take out 650+ points of figures to still give you the lead.
So I would want to see a lot more solid attackers who can also dish out punishment. I don't know if this is a tourney or what is legal, but if it is a tourney and straight up Golden Age then keep in mind a figure like Starro can easily regenerate more per turn than KC GL can do in damage. Also the old Spectre had a 13 attack and can attack from 12 away where you can't Prob him possibly.

I'm not sure why you have Mental Shields on KCGL. With all the prob you have...someone would have to hit with Mind Control and that's not likely. I like the perplex idea because now a days a 20 isn't really too tough to hit. Personally I'd drop the Mental Shields and add Sidekick for someone to keep next to him so they can share his defense.
Shellhead has a pre-req of having a damage reducer, which KC Green Lantern doesn't have.
I share others' thoughts that the full gauntlet should be added. It replaces Fortitude and gives you so much more.
I would also add Elite Sniper to ignore stealth and to add the sharpshooter ability. That way you can be doing those brutal ranged shots all day long.
I'd probably keep Protected and ditch the others in favor of having more points for the rest of the team.
Now for the rest of the team.
I love that Riddler. I'd load him up with Stunning Blow, Knockdown, and Takedown to really limit the actions of the opposing team.
Kid Zoom is great for what he does.
I'm a big fan of Impossible Man and Scarlet Witch. You're really wanting to limit their options and those two do a good job of it.
Just to really mess with their heads, you might throw in either Wizard Shazam from B&B or 250pt Dormammu for added Prob Control and another attacker. I would leave Wizard Shizam in the starting area as long as possible and take advantage of his prob from anywhere ability. You'll have 104 pts left to play with.
If you go with Dormammu, I'd probably axe Impossible Man and Scarlet Witch in favor of a 150pt figure you like for Dormammu to empower. Actually, scratch that. Kid Zoom wouldn't be a bad choice to empower.
Let's throw Stunning Blow, Knockdown, and Takedown on Kid Zoom to make that Incap of his really nasty. Let's throw Damage Shield on Kid Zoom to make him more annoying to hit. It's like he has Mystics.
You've got 6 more points to work with. I guess you can have Streak of Luck back. :-)
